- Greetings to all modeler,
This is a full build step by step video of the Tamiya 1/24 scale Toyota Supra which is the latest Supra in Toyota's production line the car itself is impressive with its state of the art design and slick aero dynamics. The model kits comes in seperated plastic bag and few types of sprues white,chrome and translucent.
The parts are well molded, very clean and clear without any sign of residue.The rims are in chrome colors while you also receive pre-cut masking for the glass windows. Overall this model kit is totally a need to buy for those Supra fans as it has a high quality content which is worth every penny not forgettingly a super fine car that you would wish to own one in real life =)

When I watched you scribe/ retrace those lines that are meant to be deep in real life, I instantly subscribed. Youre one of the few, or maybe the only car modeler I have watched who actually paid attention to such detail and actually does that. Excellent work!

Fantastic build! It's been years since I completed any model cars, but I love watching them come together. Did I spy pieces for both right and left hand drive options? Very cool. Bummer about no engine detail though.

Amazing craftsmanship and excellent video. What is the trick when bonding two painted parts? I'm always having to scrap the paint at the attachement points for the cement to work.
Thanks a lot Jake! About the glue I used to bonding painted parts try “Tamiya Craft Bond” it’s kind of white glue and it’s safe for clear parts too.
I have it also, the white glue, it works great on F1 spoilers and thousands of other applications. I am curious about the use of instant glue in alot of model building as it does get brittle and I'm not sure if it will last as long as traditional polystyrene glues, which chemically weld the parts together.

Thank you so much Patrick! For this paint I mixed it from ref. I saw in google, started with black and white until I got same grey as the ref. and then tint it with blue and yes I added a bit of blue pearl mica to the paint.

Great build, but I see you dry fit parts but don't glue a lot of them in place?.
Thank you, I did a dry fit for video recording to avoid some mistake and glue them in the place afterwards.
Great work! Would like to know what color you used for the interior, the kind of leather brown.
Thanks a lot mate! For interior paint I mixed it myself from 80% brown and 20% orange. 😉

From my experience it actually helps to glue the pieces together so that they stay in place because most of the time they just don't stay by setting them in place or you just don't show that you do use glue or something to keep parts in place?
Actually I glued every parts but have to do behind the camera to avoiding some mistake. BTW. thanks for your visiting!
Did you wetsand and polish the glass parts? I mean windows. They look so shiny and clear :O
Just compound it with Tamiya compound (fine) it good enough!

What do you use to stick the body of the car to the bottle? You're skills are amazing btw.

are tamiya acrylics suitable for airbrush painting? how can i dilute them to get a clean job? how much thinner, how much color?
Yes it can be used by airbrush mix with thinner X-20A 1:1 (paint:thinner) would be fine.

You dont sand, buff, polish the 2k clear?
I did it but off the camera to make the video not too long and boring.
any other alternatives for glasurit 2k?
I think you can use any brand of 2K but you maybe have to find the best mixing ratio before use.

จริงๆก็ใช้ได้ทั้งคันครับ แต่อาจจะไม่สะดวกนัก เพราะกาวตัวนี้แห้งช้ากว่ากาวชนิดอื่น เลยนิยมใช้บางส่วนที่ใช้กาวประเภททำละลายไม่ได้เท่านั้นครับ

It’s local paint brand “Raditz Studio” made in Thailand sir.

It doesn’t have an engine other than that it a great job
What airbrush you use?
Just a cheap airbrush made in Taiwan “HD-130”
