[I haven’t seen or played UDG yet but I’ve seen a short video of Kotoko’s trauma :( ]

They say I ‘glorify’ a6u$3. May I ask which part of the video was I glorying it? I usually don’t get mad but people getting the wrong Idea and then getting mad at me is pissing me off. KOTOKO IS NOT MY OC. She’s a character from a game that I like(as a character) that has a horrible backstory. And I wanted to give her attention since she’s underrated and while doing so, giving people opportunity to vent. What’s wrong with that..? Is doing that making me glorify a6u$3? Should I REALLY take the video down? Idk anymore
(ps. Yes, I haven’t played UDG and not really planning to since it’s kinda scary(for me) but I’ve seen her in multiple spoilers and thought she was underrated and this song kinda fits her)

I have a friend who is living through similar trauma to her and I can’t call the police or cps to help her because she begged me not to and her mom might hurt her even more.

I am just gonna vent for a bit... If you wanna hear it, you may.
As a child, I never liked talking to people rather I would make myself a puppet to my mind (which made me a robot of sorts, listening to commands always) and never my heart. Because of this I never really dealt with feelings and now I am suffering a lot with any type of feeling I encountered. Because I was a sort of 'robot' when I was younger, I was assumed to be too disciplined, and now when I am actually showing my feelings, everyone compares me to my younger self and how I was so perfect when I was younger. And let me tell you, when I was younger I used to have breakdowns so often. Worst part is that this is something I can't explain to people at times, so I still live this life. Sometimes I wonder if I had talked to someone when I was younger, then maybe I wouldn't turn out this way...

I can actually relate to you, although not exactly but I always wanted to be the 'perfect' girl everyone wants me to be and so I did. But because of that when I got older and lost confidence in most things, they tell me, "what happened to you?? You were always so perfect back then?!" "You were the best at everything back then! Why can't you do this or that now?!" Etc. And so just like you, I can't handle small problems, which ends up in me getting mad or crying easily and them hating me for that. And if I explaining it to people they would think I'm crazy or say "it's the internet's bad influence on you isn't it?!" So yeah it's basically hopeless for me

kotoko is honestly such a nicely made character too in the game when (SPOILERS!!!!) in the end she reforms and joins our side realizing that not all adults are bad people and in the story she actually lives and accepts it

Poor girl. She never deserved any of the things she went through in the game. She was led astray by Junko Enoshima HERSELF. She wasn't even able to realize what she was doing was wrong because she feared for her life. But mostly everyone in UDG deserved better.

Kotoko is actually my favorite character in UDG and its so sad how tragic her past was.
Tbh the warriors of hope aren’t the bad guys, they just had a tragic childhood and were used by Junko. So you can’t really blame them..
Yeah. People seem to forget that they have a very skewed sense of morality. Like, for example, Kotoko projects her trauma onto Komaru. She does this because Komaru is cute and she thinks that all cute girls deserve to go through things like this. The reason she thinks this is because of her past.

Kotoko is definitely one of my highest kins from the Danganronpa series.

I may not have had it as bad as some people, but wow. Even having someone I knew for a long time and trusted with my life do what they did to me sucked. My heart really goes out to everyone who had anything like this in any capacity happen to them. She has developed a trigger word because of this. Her mom also guilt tripped her, as her mom would cry whenever Kotoko said she didn't want to do this anymore, which made Kotoko back down and unfortunately proceed.

This has nothing to do with the video. But I just wanted to say that i was about 5 years old when my parents got divorced. I was really confused on why my mom was leaving us. I cried almost non stop for the next week. And sometimes to this day I still wish I had a normal feeling family.
