The thing I do like about the Friendship saves and misses is that the pokemon actually respect and care for you. Story wise they doing everything to keep fighting until they Faint. So it make it even more sad when they faint.

I have a fun story of when I first played the game, I did not realize the gyms were certain levels and so when I read that Katy "was typically sought after first" or whatever I went "oh I wanna see what a hard bug team would be like, I'll do her last" and went after like Iono first.. which.. her level is 20, the upper limit at which you can catch Pokemon with 0 badges.. so I assumed "oh wow this game is gonna be fun, they knew people would get higher leveled if they walked this far" and so I did beat her (which btw was fun imo since Tera Electric Mismagius has like no weaknesses and I had nothing too crazy at that point) and then went after.. Grusha second.. since my thoughts was "Ice is always late when we have a balanced team and easy ways to handle it, if I do it early without a bunch of options this may make it harder" and when I saw the Cetoddle cutscene was like "oh wow dynamic cutscenes" since.. saw Cetitan as his Pokemon in the lead up to the game... then saw his level 47 Frosmoth.. realized I was apparently dumb for assuming an open world Pokemon game would be open world.. still did Katy last tho out of spite.. she did not see my Arcanine coming lol
I am mad you found the version exclusive Tauros so early... I found mine *in the post game*
Also since you theoretically can do any gym in any order, since Medali has a hidden battle court, Nemona will comment on it saying "I don't know where the battle court is so let's just fight right here on the street" which.. is kinda cool there is at least one thing that is dynamic
Oh yeah the caps are all over the place, they do not make sense lol, like think the early order is like Cortondo, Brassius, Klawf, and Giacomo with barely an increase being 15, 16, 17 and 20 maybe? One time looked at a map of a "suggested" route and you swing back and forth so much like a pendulum lol, like on Glaseado mountain.. Ghost is gym 6 and Ice is gym 8 but they are neighbors
Wiglett and Wugtrio.. I saw Wiglett and *as a joke* to friends "can't wait for Wugtrio" and when it *actually happened* I laughed at the sheer stupidity and fell in love with it.. also loved Dunsparce evo is just more Dunsparce
You.. guessed the Larry thing blind.. wow.. there was a challenge, go around town fighting trainers to collect the correct responses to be able to fight Larry... still find it funny he is meant to be "generic" but the "twist" is spoiled since he is a unique model from the rest of the restaurant lol
One thing dislike is Ghost gym is the only time there are double battles in Paldea.. like there are no random NPCs out in the world that challenge you to them
Also I feel bad for people that may have done the stories not mixed.. since.. the last two Team Star fights are above Grusha yet the E4 are above the two Star bosses.. so if you just did only "Victory Road" you'd be in for a surprise.. like I am pretty sure that Arven and Penny have higher leveled ace Pokemon than Geeta also..

I.. didn't know the bs affection mechanic was in SV since.. I never picnicked since.. I was just thinking.. okay? Some random boosts that don't even line up (ie Encounter Psychic but Item up Fairy, what am I meant to find a bunch of Ralts and Mimes to farm?) Like I legit was assuming sandwiches would make sense, like all Psychic boosting effects or whatever.. not "lol 3 various effects.. only use one that is useful"
I love how there are a bunch of "dumb" twists that cover for the actual twist of a dead parent, like sure sometimes there is implied stuff of a random NPC in past games but they outright told us that Arven's mom/dad are dead, the other parent abandoned them long ago and apparently never tried to connect with Arven, *and* it happened not too long before the start.. like the intro with your Raidon crashing on the beach is implied to be almost right after it lost the "territory battle" with the other Raidon
Speaking of twists.. while doing Arven's story.. early on he called "my" Raidon "a brute" and was secretive about the Herba Mystica.. and since the herbs were healing my Raidon I legit assumed it would a last hour twist of him having like the opposite box legendary.. and then his doggo showed up and I felt bad for assuming he was the villain

I'm just now watching this 10 Months later, and I am.. so glad that someone else agrees with me about the Sprigatito line. Like, everyone got mad bc Meowscarada didn't stay on two legs, but they didn't say that about Incineroar?? That's completely insane! I'm just truly glad that we have more Meowscarada supporters and.. in general, Grass Type Starters as a whole! Also, this might be a theoretical stretch, but because we have 2 bipedal cat Starters, one Fire Type in Gen 7 and one Grass Type in Gen 9, I feel like they'll make a Water Type bipedal cat in a hopefully Gen 11, what's your opinion on this? I think that would be sick.. keep up the good work vivid!❤
Edit: Also a fun fact, you can go back to the location of Titan Pokémon.. and catch them too! So you can get an early Iron Treads (V) or Great Tusk (S) before getting to Area Zero. Hope this helps in future runs!

The FFX soundtrack u put in here made my heart melt with nostalgia, I love that game so dearly it holds a special place in my heart, same to this game now it was seriously such a crazy different experience then from normal Pokémon games, loved this play threw as always!
For future runs if you wanna avoid the friendship boosts, you can just use the healing herbs on your Pokemon and that'll lower friendship. Heal Powder, energy root, etc.
This is by far and away the quickest I knew the theme. The second you said Tommy I got very excited and screamed power rangers. The validation as you kept naming things felt very good
Once I realized you were doing the Power Rangers... I remembered that JDF (Tommy) committed "endgame" around Thanksgiving. He was a convention friend of mine, and losing him so abruptly made the holidays really bad. I think he would have been honored to be on your team.

@@invividcolor Nope, this is a real thing. Similar to how everybody jumped off of the cliff immediately after getting Wyrdeer, almost all of the major Pokémon streamers & RUclipsrs called Nemona “Pneumonia” instead.
This spread to really dark & gross places of the Internet, where people decided that this was GameFreak & the Pokémon content creators, helping them push the subconscious message that it’s okay to be racist against the Spanish.
So I’m posting up this comment every time I hear somebody call Nemona that going forward, so creators either stop doing it or realize how certain people are using this joke in really disturbing ways.

hehehe, i had the name theme right immediately, but the confirmation from name 2 was nice to have. absolutely sang "go go power rangers" outloud at that lol. as for my favorite new pokemon, it's a tie between clodsire, fuecoco, and rabsca. clodsire and fuecoco are my dopey bois (i literally named my fuecoco dopey in spanish XD) and rabsca just kinda came outta nowhere in terms of liking it even tho i barely used it on my team. it's just so pretty to look at and it's whole vibe and concept slap to me.
As soon as i saw Tommy for the green cat i called it being a Power Ranger theme. Mad respect. RIP JDF

DO ball-locke!! It means u can only use 1 different ball for each encounter. Hardcore Nuzlocke rules too! When u finish all ur diffrent pokemonballs thats all your encountarable pokemon!

I don't think the friendship saves or dodges are a bad thing, yes they definitely help and can fully save a mon that was going to die but they are a part of the game just like any other rng thing like critical hits so I don't see a problem with that mechanic in nuzlockes at all

@@invividcolor took me 8 hours but finally finsihed the video and i have so much to add, as someone who still has a vivid memory of getting pokemon blue for his birthday when it came out this is some of the most fun ive have with a pokemon game and putting visual issuas aside its so sad and obvious where they decided to cut corners like all the gyms being a copy and paste... my daughter started daycare in september and as a family we were sick for 3 months straight and a month of being healthy im still tired from it family sickness is the worst so i feel ya there.... i also lost my mom to cancer as a teenage, cancer suuucks
