In response to Pulisic being less involved today, it seemed like every time he had the ball 2-3 defenders were swarming him. Teams are afraid of him now. Meanwhile, Fonseca seems to have found the ideal formation and Pulisic still scored.

@@orangedude000 I agree and he's probably gassed he does a lot of work off the ball. It's good people are swarming him because it opens up the left side for leao and if they go after leao it opens up pulisic.

For me, Pulisic is always involved, even if he doesn’t score or not.
He always tries to make an impact, to get the team going. And like you said, others are afraid of what he can do. Especially after seeing him against Inter, or how he was the only one to score against Liverpool.

    • @Christian-rz9it
      @Christian-rz9it Месяц назад

I disagree, if you watched the match you saw that he got the ball and tried to advance with it, there would be the pass he could make to Rejinders or others and he would not instead he would try to dribble through, reach within the defenders spehere of influence and get the ball taken. He didn’t have a great game today but that’s okay. He is doing very well

    • @BobMcBurger1

@@Christian-rz9it Well Pulisic tries to break through, to make an impact. Because if he doesn't try than no one will. We've seen it several times already in games which Milan lost.

He won champions league with Chelsea, go watch the semi final game during that run. He had good stints at Chelsea but the management didn't rate him. It wasn't his fault. They labeled him injury prone, and he was not more prone than Kante, mason mount, and others. I'm glad he is doing well at Milan.

I want to thank you for being so level headed and objective with your takes on the games. It’s nice to see a content creator stick to their guns and say something positive about the management. We as fans need to give the organization more time to create a finished product on the field. Off the field the business side is a complete success and can’t be argued. They deserve to be questioned on many decisions but I’ve been thinking for weeks that Morata and Abraham haven’t just brought some underrated skill, they have brought heart and grinta which we lack so much. The videos of Tammy and Morata on the sideline at the end of the Inter game made me know those are very good signings which I know will only get better. I think the management has real belief in 16yr old Camarda and I think they wanted to find a stop gap answer for that until he proves his worth or we need to move on. I belief they found two great answers to that. I do believe they missed the mark on Emerson. I don’t like seeing Pulisic forced inside allowing Emerson to have the whole wing to himself. I like Pulisic outside coming inside not starting inside contested and congested. As fans have belief and don’t get too high or too low. Also back Leao with everything you got because his down year is other players career years. He just needs to show more heart and he will find it.

In terms of goal contribution in a season, Leao always delivers. The reason for the criticism is that a player with his skills and strength should be a leader, and he's not. If the game doesn't go well, he's not gonna step up and carry the team like stars like Kakà or Sheva used to. Also, he has rarely been playing well in big games. As for Puli not talking much... Fonseca never said he wasn't a leader. He *said* you have to kind of "push a button" to get him to talk. That said, Fonseca may be doing just that because at halftime as Pulisic and Leao were walking off the pitch together Pulisic was talking to him about something and Rafa didn't exactly look like he appreciated it... he looked a bit defensive. But then the tension seemed to ease and they continued talking. So Puli may be trying to get more vocal.

I think the problem with Laeo is that yes he has the same goal contributions as Pulisic and tied for most in Serie A.
However, Pulisic does all that while carrying the right side defensive. If Leao just put in a little more effort. He doesnthave to be a monster but he needs to have a presence in our final 3rd. He doesn't have to do any crunching tackles, but when we are being countered hard and he's in general range he needs to haul his ass back to at least break the numerical advantage. After we get set back up he can slink back to the shadows.
But within 5 seconds of him losing the ball he needs to try everything he can to get the ball back.
I see Pulisic on losing the ball immediately tries to win the ball back. He doesn't mope on the ground fix his cleats smile for the camera has dinner with his girlfriend and then finally tries to get involved.
Leao talent wise is by far the best player on the pitch every single game, but he just turns off a little too much.

They have a great game, thanks to the coach they have had since last year, but if Milan play with the same formation used in the derby, i.e. everyone tight together and starting off quickly, we can win. we have the talent to win with anyone with the players we have in front of us. Force.

Leao contributing isn't the issue. Yeah, he quietly has his numbers, but the issue is he doesn't do anything in the game if people aren't getting him the ball. Look at Pulisic even today. He constantly made runs and wasn't getting the ball, so what did he do? He played hard on defense. He always finds a way to be in the game. That's the issue. Sure, Leao looked better today, but let's see him do it consistently.

I hope that Fonseca soon understands that this team has built over the years a thought for the counterattack, so we cannot dominate the game and always keep the ball, we don't have those characteristics, we don't have setters. We have players who are very fast and very strong in space, but if you block their space by holding the ball too much (as happened to us against Lecce before the first goal), you are damaging players like Theo and Leao. yesterday's 2nd goal is an example of how Milan must play to make the most of the players they have: passing the ball quickly and going deep. These are the characteristics of many of our players recruited in recent years.

I have a theory that once Zlatan arrived he wanted to sign players that wanted to wear the badge. He wants players that fight and defend the history of the club. All the signings regardless of how they started, have put in crazy effort for the team. They are passionate to play for the club, that can make up for a lot when the skill needs to be developed. I’ll add on I am a huge Fofana fan and I know he started slow but he will become the best ball recovery midfielder in the league in due time.

Leao has the most potential of any player in the Serie A. Pulisic is currently the best player because of his off the ball skills. Its a good problem for Milan to have. Its 100% because of Frank Lampard. He taught Pulisic how to run at the goal and get good positioning.

i will start this by saying leao was actually good and even tracked back at times today even tho he was still walking for the majority of the game but why would leao get praise for his g/a contribution he literally has the ball for the overwelming majority of the time in his feet when you get the ball 30 times per game on your feet and you deliver 1 assist you are a terrible contributer on the other side pulisic is getting the ball 15 times and contributes the same thats why he takes a lot of credit that along with the fact that he actually runs the whole game and also does not have a theo behind him but a calabria and emerson leao should have at least 6 goals this season already with the easy goals he should had scored especially in the first 2 games even against inter instead he is still at just 1 and at the end of the day thats the problem he has the talent to be a top 5 player in the world and if we are honest he should have already become that he is 25 he is entering his prime and he gonna ask for a salary of 6+ million minumun and he still performs like a guy with the tactical ability of a 16 year old and he is extremely inneficient aswell its like shooting 5/30 in a basketball game and getting praised

    1. You are gaslighting everyone. That 30 contribution stat was the same stat before the last game. Since then, pulisic has had 2 additional goals and 1 assist. Leao had an assist. So, the pulisic is leading the league in controbutions. Not leao.
    2. Leao had a much better game than he has had this year. that is because he actually played defense. The issue with leao is that he thinks his only job is to stand there and wait for the ball. He acts like he is too good to play defense. Like he is so great. He isnt. Modern football requires EVERYONE to play defense. EVERYONE to hustle. Leao has never been that player. So when he isnt scoring, assisting or helping out defensively, when he is in a funk you start to ask, "wtf are you adding to the team." Morata and tammy arent scoring but they hustle. They play for the team. That make me as a fan value them more than leao. But if leao gives the same effort even when not scoring, he is earning his spot on the field. If he isnt, then he isnt earning it. If u say he is, then you are fanboying and cant be taken serious
