Thank you! You are only the second person I’ve heard mention the struggle of wearing bias cut skirts when you have “hip dips”. I have tried to explain this to people before and was told it was just my imagination 😢. This skirt is now in my stash.
Simple but lovely! I was recently thinking that it would be nice to have a woven alternative to the Heartlight skirt. I have the Free Spirit but wanted a bit more streamlined look. And now we have it, with the back elastic, subtle and perfect! thank you so much 😊
Wow fantastic pattern - love the variety of lengths & the ability to set the waist at your preferred height! Makes things much easier than the usual very rigid waistband on woven skirts, especially when your weight varies throughout the month. And yay for the bias alternative, yet another hip dipper here, but at 181cm they never sit right on me anyway. Love it!!!
I remember when my daughter was a teenager and she bought mini skirts 5hey were abit too short for her so she would give them to me and they were the perfect length for me they used to fall just below the knees which was just right. As I'm sure you've guessed I'm only 5 foot 2. So I'm rather short my daughter takes after her father who's a 6 footer so she grew to be atleast 5 foot 9.
I have something called a sway back and all the skirt and dresses I make require me cut out extra fabric around the back of the waist so when it's finished it sits just right at my back waist. A little bit of extra work but I don't mind
love ur videos & that u show us the different combinations & with the different tops but the only thing is is that everything looks so gorgeous on u cause ur skinny but I wish u would also use a large lady modelling ur patterns with u as u talk about the different options & that she would wear the exact same outfit as u but in a larger size that would just make ur videos that much more special especially for us larger ladies so we can also see what they look like on us 😁 & yes I no u have larger ladies at the end but I would love to see them in the same outfits as u please please please 🙏 xxx
