I have found that if you just a little more clearance to get that "butter smooth" deadbolt closure that a Dremel Tool with a grinder bit can give you a smidge more clearance on the strike plate quickly and save a lot of more involved work.

One problem if the battery runs out you can’t open without the key - also you can’t assign each user as a switch in your smart home basic unlock and lock is it there’s no indication of who went in or out which can trigger the smart home to do things like a greeting

Actually you can open if the battery dies without a key. It has a USB-C port on the bottom so that you can power it in an emergency.

I cannot get the lock to connect to wifi. The documentation states that it only recognizes 2.4 GHz wifi and not 5 GHz. My wifi setup is a mesh system and it combines both frequencies. The lock app does even show the wifi SSID as available. Otherwise, I think it is a great lock.
