I love your videos I've learned so much from you. You're a great teacher. Thank .. I will say one thing my little brain noticed, that block you put under there for support should be flip the other way so the holes are up and down for maximum support. Thank you for the great videos 😊
Thank you kindly sir and blessings but i must ask if you need the crowsfoot if you just cut or ripped the lines out and leave just enough room over the the new conection for a socket but i guess it only applies if removing still need to reinstall thx again
Any tips for getting on the bolt in the back of the reservoir? The low pressure hose is in the way and as I saw in your video a right pain in the butt to get off.
I need help changing my power steering pressure hose on my 2006 Chrysler Town & Country. The space is so tight to turn the crows feet off just like in this video but it seems like you have easier access is it because it is a dodge caravan?
My 2000 caravan 4cyl has non removable metal pressure line. It was mounted first at factory on body bottom, with steering long gear box mounted on top. The metal line leaks at a corner. I put a split rubber hose over crack on tube with double screw clamps to slow down the leak. The 2003 caravan service manual has no reference to replacing pressure power steering line either.
The video very helpful going problem you didn't name the sizes of any of the tools the wrench sizes for the high-pressure line I don't know what that size is it would have been more helpful if you would have included the sizes of the ranches that you used but other than that great video
Did you replace the brackets too or no? If so where did you find them? Also for the pump there’s a corner thing on it that goes to a bigger rubber hose do you know where I can find that part?
@@PistonShack boy i had a spell check problem but you got it 3 bolts evap can crowsfoot 6in extension crack loose run out with fingers no need to remove any other lines hardest part re using hold down clamps
Dodge Grand Caravan is a great vehicle, lots of room & simple to repair! 👍
No, no any room at all!
Lol, yeah, not a lot of room- but I own the darn thing and they are good to have. Love your videos and thank you!
One of the better auto repair videos I've watched. Good filming and explanations on what steps to take and where the parts all. Good job.
Thanks for your kind feedback Daniel!

Thank you for the great videos 😊
Seams like a difficult job, have to give you credit doing the work in cold weather, thanks for the Video.
Thanks Daniel! Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks for the video it helped a lot! Just did the high pressure hose on a rusted out '06 Caravan and it went really well!
Fantastic Sam!
Can you use The old lines and just replace the pump?
Excellent Video
Thank you for your kind feedback Raymond.
Could have been a better video for sure. But it still helped. Thanks. Got the pump changed and system flushed in under 3hrs
That's nice! Thanks for you feedback!
Can you tell me what tools i need to do just the steering pump.. looks like 13m a flat head and adjustable wrench???
Tight space to work in......good job. Say hi to Bolo for me
You got it) I will definitely do that! Vans and minivans are dark nightmare to work on them!

You don't need to remove bolt completely, reservoir in the back has slot, just loose the bolt and pull reservoir up.

Interesting, I have never heard about it. Is it possible to weld or solder the crack?
How much are the supplies and how much the mechanic will charge to do that kind of job . Thank youuuuuu.
Transmission fluid in the steering reservoir, instead of steering fluid?
That what manufacture recommends.
Hiyas! Great Job! I just replaced the rack & pinion on my van. What size are the o'rings for the lines into the rack? Thank you.
Honestly, I don't remember. I would get a kit from local parts store in your situation. Only use green o-rings on PS and AC lines. Cheers!

Hey Clinton. Sorry about that, I should include sizes( I learned my lesson, Thanks for you feedback.
How long did this take? My vans been sitting for over a year because my power steering is bad. Won't hold fluid.
I don't remember exact time, it was a long time ago. Probably, 3-4 hours.
Did you replace the brackets too or no? If so where did you find them? Also for the pump there’s a corner thing on it that goes to a bigger rubber hose do you know where I can find that part?
I didn't do any brackets. Well, the best place to find Caravan parts is local junk yard. Bzw, how is your repair?
@@PistonShack it is going good ima try and finish up after vaca
My mecanic did everything got part from autozone mexico part did not work any suggestion
That's why I don't drive minivans))) most of the repairs are a nightmare!
Interesting point!
not many repairs required on minivans. have owned 5 since my first new 87. very reliable& economical.
Don't see the link in the description for removing the pulley from the pump.
Sorry, I forgot about it. Just added, check it out.
Can I do just the pressure hose
I think you can, I don't see why not. Let me know how it worked out. Cheers.
And would need the drain the reservoir before doing power steering pressure hose
If you only do only pressure line itself I won't bother.
@@PistonShack thanks very much my guy God bless bro
$hit. I thought this was going to be fairly easy. I will be lucky if I get it done in 16 hours and calling a tow truck.
Hey Tim. Unfortunetely, powerstering replacement on Caravan isn't much fun.
you all aew not richt remove evao can yor right there
Thanks Scott!
