Very useful information. Our hose at camp is always leaking and don't feel like replacing such an expensive hose
I’ve been wanting to build an above-ground PVC watering system (we have gophers who constantly chew through the underground system) and use soaker hoses for the plants… but, I couldn’t figure out how to connect the pipes to the houses. I’d never heard of this connector, so you just made my dream into a reality. THANK YOU!!!
That's a great idea!
make sure to get a metal adapter for the hose then to pvc thread so the garden hose doesn’t constantly strip the pvc plastic. i glued the two together and a couple of feet of pipe on one end and it works beautifully
Thank you that's what I am looking for! I am planning on running PVC pipe on top of my wood fence and have every now and then a T-valve to connect a hose. That makes it easier and I don't have to drag a super long hose behind me. It also gives me more flexibility instead of boring it in the soil
Glad I could help!
Home Depot carries that exact orbit adapter for $4.05
Thanks for sharing, it's what I'm looking for today, very useful.
New full-time Subscriber here. I was thinking what can I use the pvc for ? Bam ,! My son's basement sometimes gets flooded and we have to use the pumps hooked into hose. BUT your idea can lift the hose up and out the window by connection to approx 3-4' of pvc. TY.
Have a Blessed Day. Can't wait to CK out All your vids.

This will work great for my pvc irrigation, hard to hand water 100s of new trees this will save me so much time As i dont like to water the foliage.
Omg u saved me so much time and money. Thanks for the video❤
Glad I could help!
Thanks for sharing this info. This what I need for my project.
Glad it was helpful!
I wonder if you could use the male one with it to function as a bulkhead? I would have enjoyed seeing the male part go into the female part if you know what I mean.
I''ve been looking for a version of this that has a 3/4 pvc slip and a brass (or stainless steel) male OR female GHT. Do these exist?
The only think is what do you call the part?you had no link to it.thanks
Home Depot has them as well
Can I get a link to this adapter on Amazon? I could only find adapter for 1/2 inch at the moment.
has anyone had issues with the water leaking at the swivel?
what was that yellow thing you attached it to at 1:30 ?
Its a water pump
I got one similar at Home Depot but it leaks. I already replace it twice. I build a water sprinkler system with 3/4 pvc. That’s is the only part that leaks the one connected to the water supply.
Mine recently blew apart and flooded the yard but luckily was caught before it made a full lake
If you need this item now, they carry them at the Home Depot
These are like 3 bucks at home depot.
Have never found them at the local Home Depot or Ace Hardware,
Found them!
