      This old school Daiwa is my absolute favorite surf rod, and I'm afraid to damage it because I don't know what to replace it with! I have the modern FT series replacement from daiwa but it just doesn't have the same feel to it

      @@FishAnotherDay Looks like old 1960-70 vintage eagle claw rods. I still have 3-4 of them.

      @@theoldsurffisher1943 I wish I had a few more too... This was handed down to me from my dad's friend's dad. 60-70s sounds about right in the ballpark

      @@FishAnotherDay More Nostalgia?? I even have a Yellow Eagle Claw "back pack" rod. It's in 4 sections in an 18" aluminum screw ended tube.
