Thanks my man! The bucket is a mainstay in my pack so it goes everywhere and weighs close to nothing! Credit to Sally for giving me the q tip box to make the bait container
That's correct. I mentioned it after I caught the first fish. I leave it on because I use the same rod and reel and swap out the leader for a Carolina. The conventional way to do it (hi/low) is to only have the sinkers at the very end and nowhere else. I just keep it on for convenience and it hasn't had a negative impact on the bite. Good eye for catching it too 👍
@@FishAnotherDay I understand the conventional way for both, since I use both, which is why it stood out to me. I would think that the egg sinker could make the top part of the rig sink down a bit, and mitigate the effectiveness and purpose of a taught line. This is the reason I bring 2 identical rod/reel setups, one with the h/l and the other, C-rigged. But if it works for you, more power to you.
@@edcastillo4456 it does indeed drag the top of the rig down to the sand a bit. But yeah I pointed it out just so people were aware of was intentional and not how it's meant to be. Appreciate you watching!
This was one of the best fishing days I've ever had! This was about 2 weeks ago when there were red flag warnings and 30mph winds. Not the time I'd recommend people go fishing lol
I was “vaccinated”, then had a very mild case of Covid. I for sure know it’s a risk, but for my age/ethnicity/health, Covid itself is an incredibly low risk. Great to see RT’s working hard!
Gotta correct myself here. The Dock Runner is actually only 3' in length and not 3.5'. Amazon's listing title is incorrectly stating it's 3'6", FYI!
An enjoyable video with a very nice catch of fish. Good ideas about bait container and collapsible bucket. Looking forward to your next video.

You should do more fishing videos!!!
That's the plan! LMK if you have recommended ideas or places to fish too so I can change things up occasionally. Can always reach out on IG or FB👍
Nelson that was another cool video. Was Sally taking the video? Great catch.
Nope, just me with a chest mounted cam and a tripod with my phone✌️
Nice!
Thanks Jun! Learned a lot from your videos over the years
In the beginning, you are describing your set up as a high/low rig, but I can also see a Carolina rig at the top of the high low. Is that correct?

Nice bucket bag , whats that? i Need to order 1
Check Amazon for "collapsible bucket". The one I use is 20L. They should be about $10, although I paid $6 for mine about 2 years ago
@@FishAnotherDay thank you
Wow that a big perch bro!
Thanks man! Just wish I got it on camera
Nice one Nelson!
Nice catch .. Which beach is that ?
No specific location, but this is in the bay area👍
Nice to meet you that day.
Good meeting you too man! You probably thought I was crazy using that tiny rod haha
@@FishAnotherDay not at all because we all know the perch are 10 feet in front of you 😂
@@homeneveroutdoors it was tough to even get this into the perch zone. My shoulder was so sore from casting
@@FishAnotherDay my pole snapped next outing 3 casts in. Luckily I always carry a telescopic 7 ft pole with me. That saved the day.
I really enjoyed watching this video. You had an awesome day catching all those perch. Did you go out between the storms on Saturday?

And thank you for watching! It's nice seeing people enjoy what took me a lot of time and effort to put together
Aww thought you were going to do a catch and cook. Nice video though!
I had nothing left in me after fishing lol. I ended up staying up for a total of 29 hours. Glad to hear somebody enjoys seeing the cooking though!
Oh gosh I feel you bro. Hard working man! Yea watching catch and cook videos makes me want to eat hehe
WOOOO LETS GOOO
Chyeahhhhhhhh
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻damn. Fishin right after work. Pretty coo, mang.
There's only so much time in a day. I wanna use all of it haha
CAPR and N95? I grew a beard so I could wear the CAPR and not the N95.
I wear it as a backup, in case the CAPR shield comes off. I've also had a poor battery connection before so I keep the N95 on too
