Yeah, like I said AC was never meant for any kind of off road racing, but a good way to maybe get into rally a little for 100% free, and have a visually appealing experience as well
@@JacobCappello Rally is NOT offroad racing. It is the only ON ROAD racing. I'm getting tired of this faulty thinking creeping into how people see rally.

@@StoneHillRally The WRC is a tiny part of rally, and has too few tarmac events. Rally began on tarmac, and still happens on tarmac more than any other surface. Though this is changing as people are forgetting what rally actually is, particularly at WRC level - which is exactly what I'm complaining about.
U can simulate other surfaces very well if u try to model behaviour of tyres on specific surfaces instead of just play friction/grip multiplier. There's gravel tyre physics on RaceDepartment and it works very well but u need to adjust a bit because on gravel, locking ur tyres is better ;)
I know most people love the quattro with the aero kit, but my favorite is the SWB one WITHOUT the crazy aero. It just looks MORE like a _rally_ car to me.
That Scooby is running pretty high but yh AC is king of the road and iv got RBR and dirt rally 2.0 for rally but it still amazes me how far you can push AC. If you think about it, there aren't many racing disciplines left to add to AC. I want monster trucks next. lol
You think so? I got 4 buddies on AC now and we all drive and drift, but looking to get into rally and want the best experience but not pulling the trigger on buying something like dirt 2.0 or whatever else. But if its better we just might.
I downloaded the mod, it is very different. Kunos car has better interior, mod has weird textures Mod has a static posed co-driver sitting next to you Kunos car has adjustable gearing, mod is static gearing Mod car tops out around 200kmh Mod car sounds terrible if you downshift and over rev, very fake sounding Mod car has a lot of body squat on acceleration, feels fun Mod car blasts thru the gears and that feels fun too Mod car is able to start in 5th gear and just feels like a super laggy big turbo My test was going down the union island runway, taking that left gate and trying to go thru the village chicane as fast as I could. Kunos car did well, was able to adjust gearing. Seems like ebrake doesn't work at all? Mod car did ok too. You can drive the whole island in 5th gear and the big lag is actually pretty fun and usable. I think Kunos is still my fav tho. I want that same car with a working ebrake.
Short answer, sadly, is - you can't. The gravel physics can be ok, but they'll never be as pleasant and convincing as RBR.

But its tarmac physics is better, and since most rally takes place on tarmac, its a better rally sim.
