Good to see so many tutorials like this on RUclips. technically very brilliant as with this one! But I’ve always said learning this stuff is part technical and part natural vibes! Once this stuff gets too techy it makes it hard for the learner to grasp this stuff when in fact it’s not! This is actually quite an easy scratch to do but you need to simplify things! Every scratch pattern can be simplified. With this pattern start from in the middle of the sound then baby scratch forward to the end of the sound with one click of the fader so it ends up open. Close the fader and Bring the sound back to your starting point (in the middle of the sound) then repeat again (with one click of the fader) but this time going back so now the sound is at the beginning with the fader open! Close the fader and bring it back to the middle part of the sound where you begin the process again! This is the simplest way to do this scratch! Happy practicing!!!
The difference between the aquaman and an open fader boomerang is the timing, the aquaman has a slight drag on the 3rd and 4th notes. That's my interpretation of it anyway ✌
That's the aquaman skratch. Starts open ends open. Boomarange starts closed ends closed. Same record movement
