I've literally spent the last month deciding between these two guitars, how did I not see this video!? I went for the Harley benton in the end (same colour) purely for the price alone. I'm really pleased with it.
I'm very happy with my Ibanez AS53.It's a first quality Guitar,I love the sound and the look, value for money and very versatile, from Blues and Jazz to heavy Rock.
Harley Benton is far better in sound. It is more balanced (you can hear it better unplugged) and it has greater punch both in clean and in distorted modes.
My last addition to the gang is a Ibanez AS-53 in a tobacco finish. And I have to say that I’m impressed with this thing. It’s a bit bulkier than the other guitars but it’s fairly easy to play. The neck feels pretty good in my hands, ( I’ve got big hands) And it keeps a tune. I was gonna change strings but the stock setup seems to be doing just fine. It’s nice.🤔👁❤️🎸☘️
I have a solid body Ibanez that I really like. Especially the neck. But the Ibanez you are comparing sounds a bit subdued and a little muddy compared to the Harley Benton. Maybe because of the mahogany and pickup combination. I'm looking for this type of guitar. I think Harley Benton will get my money.
I own both of these guitars. For build quality the AS53 wins hands down. A robust quality piece. The AS is a better guitar, except for the pups. It's a more expensive Gtr but the pups are pretty bad at the price point. Having said that neither Gtr has decent pups so whichever you choose, upgrade the pups. I found a cherry red Samick 335 in a dumpster a few weeks back. I've put new everything on it, including some Tonerider Classic AC2 pups. They are awesome. My luthier has a lefty body only (I'm a lefty) HB 35 in black so I'm gonna get him to do the same to that as I did to the Samick. Then I'll play them all for a few months and flog 2 off, keeping my favourite. PS - the Samick is a righty so I changed the nut to a lefty and it plays fine. TBH if you play any of these through a Gladio and with good pups you'll struggle to find a difference.
The HB-35+ has *much* more treble from the neckPU than was audible here from the bridgePU, even w/o coil split. I guess the same goes for the Ibanez. Sth must have gone terribly wrong while recording.

That wood finish on the Ibanez is simply gorgeous.

Great choice! You'll definitely enjoy it, it's a killer guitar :)

My thoughts exactly.

I have the IBANEZ great GUITAR for the Money!!
I have to say that the HB35 had the better clarity and dynamics.
I'm looking for an ES-335 style guitar and I really like the Ibanez. It looks gorgeous.
I'm in love with Ibanez 53 guitar, so soft touch feelings and quality sound, th exterior is just simple and professional, no bells and whistles
I love my ibanez as53. So good to play. The neck is amazingly comfortable to play.

I prefer the Acoustic Sound of the H. B. But I prefer the Sound. Of the Pick-ups and the Look of the Ibanez
I have a Harley Benton 35 plus and it sounds amazing… thanks took the pick guard off😂 it’s sounds better than my Epiphone dot 335 ❤

The Ibanez sounds so much better.
Harley Benton sounds more like a real 335
I have an AS53 and HB35 really piqued my interest.
Thanks
AS 53 clean tone
The best
I have an ibanez 53 but it's posible has so high ganancy? I tried to down pickups a little because It sounds so compressed
What? Why is the distorted guitar sound in stereo from 3:56 onwards?

The HB-35 says it has a sustain block, I couldn't find any info on the Ibanez. Maybe it doesn't?
4:00 can someone give me that song please
It’s not identical but it’s a bit of a version of Smells like teen spirit, by Nirvana. Sorry I wasn’t around 3 months ago!
@@jamieharper2554 thx

Pretty sure those are both made in the same factory. The hardware is the only difference
Why is treble rolled off? Too much bass in my opinion too
Ibanez sounds better but both are just okay
~ greetings from germany ~
In this video both are sounding like a beautiful crap 😂
Way too much bass for guitar tone to be useful in a real world situation
