Can I edit the length of time on my pie? When I opened my account I set my pie for 5 years. Can that be edited?
@@Kmat916 I’m not 100% sure, I don’t use them. I think you can cancel the pie as far as I know
Thanks for doing this video. Really helped a newbie. 👍
Awesome video Mitch. Thanks.
BTW, I just used your promo code and got £10
Great Review. Thank you.
Does the free share count towards the ISA allowance for the year? Or does it not count as it technically wasn't me transferring in the share?
Hi Mitch, can you make a video tutorial for the Desktop/Mac version of T212? also do yo uknow if the new beta app is any good?
Hey! I’ve not used it yet but definitely could put something together on it. I know it’s got the TradingView integration on it which is a super useful feature for those looking at more technical analysis
Hi Mitch, great video. Can you tell me why some ETF are view only? I was looking VOO but cannot invest as view only. Thx
Hey David, VOO is only available in the US , the UK equivalent is the VUSA
Thx for the reply, appreciate your help@@MitchShoesmith
Hi I have an investment isa, I’m winding when the stock goes high so I pull my money out of just leave it thank you
I’m new at this game would love some info
Hey Mitch, how do you re-enable the automatic price change alert?
Hey! If you click into the stock you’re looking at, there is a price alerts feature which you can click on and set your specified price target to be alerted.
Awesome Mitch, By the way I was wondering if I could assist you with producing engaging edits?
How is it possible that my withdrawal since the 18th of March hasn't come in till today ? And nobody can give me concrete solution rather than "we will come back to you shortly"
I need my money, its Friday already
What's this W8ben form please Mitch. Not sure what to tick, eligible or not in UK. Tia
It’s to lower your withholding tax on dividends for US stocks from 30% to 15%, so definitely applicable. Would reach out to Trading 212 support if you’re unsure.
And what is the situation when the specific instrument's value goes down ? I can lose my money too right? IT is all depends on how the company does performance in long term. IS that true guys?
Hi, please can you mention which dividend ETF S&P 500 am i able to buy in UK?
Hey, I invest in the Vanguard VUSA S&P500 ETF, it does pay a dividend but the quarterly yield is only 1.14% currently so it’s not huge if dividends are your main priority
Hello we use your promo code and the shares went into the ISA utilisation , but isn’t it meant to reflect on the Free Funds ???
Thanks for your answer
Hey, no it comes through as a share then you can keep it or sell it if you want it in your free funds
@@MitchShoesmiththanks so much I tried even selling it but no it’s not really going through
Maybe you could guide on how to go about it reflecting on my free funds
Thanks
Hey Mitch, u didn’t put the video about the intrest on cash in the description 4:46
Apologies, it’s this one here: ruclips.net/video/oVdRSh1O6Gk/видео.htmlsi=r3IGJ8Ln4jpRPLuT

If a company hits a new high on a Friday, sell, then the panic sellers will help you for a future rebuy for cheaper
Do you lose financial services protection after activation of the 5.2% money market feature.
?
My understanding is because the QMMF (qualifying money market fund) is treated as an investment and not as money held with a bank it's not covered by the FSCS. Having said that,, my understanding of how Trading 212 operate is that your investments are segregated to that of the companies assets, so if Trading 212 were to become insolvent, your assets would be protected and not available to Trading 212 creditors.
Do you know how to chance between model pie and Community pie ?
Sorry, I’m not sure what you mean?

So if im not from UK there is not ISA for me right?
ISA is a UK thing, there may be tax efficient options where you live though, potentially.
How does it work with dividends where do I get them on the app or can I track them on the app
they'll show up as "free funds" in your account, and you'll see them under the "history" tab.

So if you have £1000 invested and the return is currently £300, If you sell all your stocks would you get £1300 or does the return work differently?
Correct, you would receive the equivalent to the companies share price multiplied by the number of shares you own (which is in theory what you have described above when the stock prices rises above that of your average purchase price)
Hi Mitch this is my first day and started my account just wandering when I click on portfolio it asks me to put the account number with old broker what does that mean😊
Hey, did you do a portfolio transfer?
@@MitchShoesmith I am really confused with some things atm just bought your course gonna listen to that from today
@@VidushiJaidka-nq2ms hopefully it helps! Drop me a message if you have any Q's
Will you still get 5.2% on money that you have allocated in buy limits to buy stocks but havent bought yet?
Good question, I’m not 100% sure on the answer to that. I would assume not as I think the money would come out of your “free funds” and be a pending buy order. Let me know if you find out though!
Hi, I created an account and entered your code but it doesn’t show in my funds. How do I find the promo £100 to spend. Is it stored in a different area and am I just being a bit dumb?
Hey Alex, once you deposit £1 into the account the free share should appear, if not click on the three dashes at the bottom right hand side and there is an option “promo code” if you enter “MITCH” it should come through
Hi thanks for getting back to me do swiftly. I just tried that but it said I had already applied the code. I guess it’s a one shot thing.
@@alexchancock yeah it should work then, may just take a day or two to show up in your account - market is closed right now too so it’ll likely be Monday when the next orders are filled
Is there any way to reset my account to 0%? Example I have a stock 20% up and I want to start the new year from 0%.
Yeah you can just sell your shares
How do you set up a standing order? I would much rather prefer to have it fully automated, then remember to fund my account each month...
Hey Damian, you can do this through the pies feature in the app & set up automated investments
Where can you see the “free shares” once you’ve applied a code?
It’ll just appear in your portfolio 👌🏼
would you recommend investing in the S&P 500 and the magnificent 7 at the same time?
I can’t make any recommendations, sorry!
Whats the least you can start with? How long does it take. I've still no idea how it all works :(
You can literally invest as little as £1 if you wanted. When you say how long does it take, it depends what your goal is, or the outcome you’re looking for…
Did they not change the rules a while ago where you could invest in more than one stocks and shares ISA from April?
It’s two different types of ISA, ie you can invest into a stock and shares ISA and then a Lifetime ISA in the same tax year, but the 20k limit is still in place across both. So if you were to max out your lifetime ISA allowance (£4000) then you stocks and shares ISA limit would decrease from £20k to £16k
The budget announcement made end of last year mentioned that from April 2024 you could invest in more than 1 platform of the same ISA account in the same tax year@@MitchShoesmith

1. No more single Isa limit
Savers will be able to open and pay into multiple Isas of the same type annually. That will replace current rules that only let you put money into one of each type of Isa every tax year.
The change will enable savers to easily move between different providers and is intended to encourage competition. With cash Isas still enjoying record rates of 5% AER or more, this is good news for savers searching for higher returns.
No
got £11.67 cheers bud
I used the link to sign up but don't see any free shares on my account?
You’ll need to deposit £1 into the account, if still nothing appears try entering the promo code MITCH, you can do this by clicking the three dashes at the bottom right and there is an option there to enter it - hopefully this should work!
@@MitchShoesmith is it because I may have had an account on the app in the past? I added some funds but still don't see anything in free funds apart from what I added. I tried entering the promo code through the app and it said I've already used the code
Do I have to file any of this when I do my self employed tax return
I’ve not completed a self employed tax return before but I don’t believe so as the ISA isn’t subject to any tax.
@@MitchShoesmith that’s what I thought but I’ve just started and didn’t want to deposit without knowing about that. Any tips for me was looking into the vanguard S&P 500
First 🎉
How come you are not invested in MSFT?
I am, via the S&P500 ETF I hold ☺️
What does it mean by pending orders
It just means the order hasn’t been fulfilled, this is likely because the market is closed or an order block hasn’t been filled yet which is more typical for ETFs
Really annoying that you can’t use the app if you’re on the US App Store. I’m from the UK, pay tax, here, but also work in the US. Just dumped 50k into start and then found out I can’t manage anything on the cell phone. Feckin annoying. What happened to our global reach 🤷🏻♂️
How many free shares did you get from this video then Mitch? 🤑🤑🤑
Isn't the rule of being able to pay into one type per year going to change starting next tax year?
Not as far as I’m aware, have you got a source you can share?

It’s possible that it could be a 3-5 day withdrawal window, not 100% sure!
Skipped over QMM’s pretty quick. Need to read the small print people.
Yep for sure, I’ve got a full video on it on the channel ☺️
whats cfd
CFD is contracts for difference, it’s leveraged trading
@@MitchShoesmith im a biginner what is saver cfd or isa
@@fortniteguyyyy an ISA is an individual savings account, there are different types but a stocks and shares ISA is a tax free account for people who are investing for the long term.
Is Tesla a Good Stock To Invest in Right now ?
I mean who knows, they’re definitely facing into some head winds with lower growth forecasts but for me I think the negative sentiment is overdone. Won’t be long before we’re trading at PE multiples that can’t be ignored.
Pls answer me
Why when i open this app it doesn't let me create an account
Is it because I'm from iraq?
What type of account is tax free and for a complete newbie in this?
It’s a stocks and shares ISA you’ll need
@@MitchShoesmith thanks for the reply. Never invested before and am quite fearful tbh. Currently have it set to invest because in the app it stated no commission fees or taxes. Can I only lose money that I deposit in the app?
