Happy Friday!! I've been loving this face wash! It makes my skin feel so clean, but without making it feel tight and dry. The honey really helps to keep it moisturized! Try it out and let me know what you think! Feel free to change up the measurements or ingredients to make it work for you :)
Thank you very much I've really sensitive combo skin and when I use cleanser my skin become more irritated so I really need I naturel products Thank u 😍😍 you help a lot keep going 💖💖
iamvanessae hi Vanessa I love your channel . I have a question how can I make a face wash for a tighter n firmer face what essential oils should I use . to put in my face wash. Can you let me know .
I just made some of your face wash this past weekend and started using it along with only using Jojoba oil for moisturizer-I cannot believe the difference in my skin! Thank you for this recipe. I don't think I'll ever go back to 'commercial' face washes ever again! Thank you for the information!
GIRL you should have million subscribers!!!!! You saved me! I just ran out of face cleanser, and I made this, I love it, it is so soothing, I just substitute jojoba oil with grape seed oil, and it turned out AMAZING! I also made your face toners and moisturizers and literally I saved so much money, never buying expensive chemical shit again! THANK YOU SO MUCH, please keep doing these type of videos!!!

I watched this video last night and jumped to my kitchen immediately as I have the ingredients readily available. It feels really great in the skin, thank you so much. Much love from Nigeria😍😍
I really love using this facewash! However I recently learned that jojoba oil causes fungal acne because it clogs a lot of the pores. So if you have tiny bumps on your forehead or cheeks or chin and they itch sometimes. I would skip the jojoba oil part entirely and just add the tea tree oil, honey, and Castile soap.
I've been looking for a new, gentle face wash but couldn't find any to purchase with helpful and moisturizing ingredients that weren't a million effin dollars. Thank you so much for this DIY! I was only missing the manuka honey but found it at a trader Joe's the other day. So excited to try this out! Natural beauty products for life😎
just bought the ingredients but added rosemary, tea tree and lemon grass oh and vitamin e. my face was very soft but felt dry around my nose crease and mouth area. over all i approve this cleanser it removed make up from my face i forgot i had on. i just used my elf face cream with the booster drops and the dryness feeling went away. like when i touched the areas it felt soft but you know how you can feel a dry patch sometimes with just your face lol anyway thank you for thw amazing cleanser!
@@deeabanu6443 i don't think so. She mentioned adding rosemary and lemongrass and they can be a lil bit drying. Those ingredients are not in this particular recipe.
I'm having a lot of acne issues lately and I'm a woman of ~ahem~ a certain age so I'm doubly irritated (no pun intended)! Love this idea and plan on gathering the ingredients this week. Thank you so much! Oh...also subscribed. :)
Thank you so much for this diy. I was waiting for you to post another one. I really liked your other face wash recipe. I'm sure I will love this one as well.
So... I mix 1 Cup Distilled water, 1/4 Castile Soap, 5 TBS of Jojoba Oil and my choice of essential oils (i use lavender) its a foam wash... do you think i can add the manuka honey? I saw this one is not foam 🤔
I like the ingredients in recipe but won't use that brand of Castile soap bc they use coconut oil which breaks me out. What can I use as an alternative aside from making my own with KOH+.?
You should really give this soap a try. It's great for my acne, but pure coconut oil not. You should watch Cassandra Bankson video where she talks about Castille soap and chemical process of making it.
The coconut oil (and all the oils) in castile soap are saponofied which is the process of turning oils into soaps. This actually makes them no longer comodogenic as they now have a completely different makeup chemically. The saponofied coconut oil won't clog your pores like regular old coconut oil would :)
How long does it last? Cause your mixing water based product which is the honey with a bunch of oils. Even the Castile soap doesnt have a preservative, it has an antioxidant cause it's an anhydrous formulation.
Question, does this take off mascara and eyeliner off when you wash your face with this? That's all I wear as makeup and I noticed that just the raw honey doesn't take it off. Sometimes I wear BB cream too so just wondering if this takes off make up.
I Love your videos! I need to start doing some of these more for my skin. I was wondering what type of makeup do you use? I already don't wear it that much but I am trying to find a more natural one That won't cause me to breakout. I have started to look at making my own but keep coming across videos that say it's not good to make your own or some use minerals to make it and then others say not to use the minerals as some can be harmful. So now I am totally confused on what to do. You seemed like someone who would know that is why I decided to ask you. I you can please help! Also I was wondering as to why people constantly say to use sunscreen don't they contain things that aren't good for your skin?
I haven't fully made the switch to natural makeup, but I've recently been doing my research and for foundation I'm gonna be testing out the one by Sappho. It's a little bit pricey, but I hear it's really good! As for sunscreen, there's a lot of controversy when it comes to mainstream sunscreens as well as natural or homemade ones. I recently stopped wearing it on my face every day. I'll only apply it when I know I'm gonna be spending a lot of time in the sun. But I recommend to use your own judgement and do what you feel is best for your skin :)
Vanessa, we don't get any raw manuka honey in India... Could you please suggest a good substitute for it? Or can we just use normal honey instead? Thank you, love your videos! ❤️
i am very concerned when it comes to the shelf life of this. honey is known to preserve itself well but the soap has water in it and the jojoba oil and essential oil is.. well.. oils. and mixing water and oil means significantly shortening the shelf life! when mixing they go rancid super quickly. any mixture i make at home w/ oils and water (for example oils+aloe vera for a moisturizer) i either make a tiny batch and use it up within a week while storing it in the fridge OR i add preservatives, leucidal for the water and rosemary extract for the oils. and STILL keep it in the fridge.
I completely understand your concern, and this is why I make a very small batch and typically use it up within 2 weeks. You can also add a preservative like vitamin E to prolong its shelf life!
I've been using this formula for a couple days now (maybe a week) and while I sourced some local honey from a beekeeper instead of Manuka, I find this cleans my face really well, but it definitely smells like an old ladies toe 😂
Hi Vanessa I love the idea of ur face washes but I feel my skin is very oily with jojoba oil I'm adding 5 tsp to my face wash should house less . I'm also looking for an ant aging face wash n how can I make it . please help.
Also, swap the jojoba oil for rosehip oil which is also anti aging. But I believe she said the jojoba oil is used to clean off dirt. So not too sure if you want to swap that oil.
hoda119 well jojoba oil I often recommended to acne prone/oily skin types because it ressembles the natural oil that our skin produces. And often people with acne have oily skin so we use it to counteract our natural oils just for our skin to think “oh well I’ve produced enough oil apparently!” And don’t produce as much = less acne

the dryness comes from the fact that this cleanser is very basic(ph around 8) and our skin is naturally slightly acidic(ph 5).

Veryyyy nice....thank you so much ❤️1 question- how long we can keep it?
1/4 Castile soap
1/3 raw honey
2 tbsps of jojoba oil
3 drops of tea tree oil
Hi Vanessa, please tell me can I use grated natural soap instead of liquid castile soap, and how long can we keep the face wash? Thank you.
is this cleanser good for sensitive skin? i have very sensitive skin and just wanna make sure before applying this!!
How long is the shelf life? How should you store it?
Thank you! Do I have to use Castile soap, could I leave it out? Could I replace jojoba with argan?
Love, Dulce probably use any type of natural concentrated soap
And you can replace the oil if u want
How long is the shelf life and would I need a preservative
For how can the face wash be kept ?
I would really like to know your opinion on using a glycerin as a cleanser. Furthermore as moisturizer as well
Hi..can I add aloe vera gel to this recipe
Any storage instructions? What’s its shelf life?
How long this facial cleanser will last?
Oh God mashallah ua skin is so perfect n flawless.. Itz my dream to have a skin like you 😍😍
It's not perfect, but after dealing with acne, I've never felt more confident :)
Ideas for fragrance? I’d like to add something natural to make the smell more appealing
Hi! I would stay away from fragrance because it can irritate the skin causing redness & breakouts ! ✨
Thank you so much for this diy. I was waiting for you to post another one. I really liked your other face wash recipe. I'm sure I will love this one as well.
This is my personal favorite! I hope you enjoy☺️
Hi babe, so can I store it for how long ? Thinking of making it in batches and storing it. Also, please answer if I can use honey on my oily skin?
Hi! You are amazing! Can I use another oil because I don't have jojoba oil?
If I make twice as much of this cleanser in the bottle, will it last me a month instead of 2 weeks without the ingredients going bad? Thanks!
Castile is alkaline product . Is it safe to use it on the face ?
Can it be stored in plastic container?
So... I mix 1 Cup Distilled water, 1/4 Castile Soap, 5 TBS of Jojoba Oil and my choice of essential oils (i use lavender) its a foam wash... do you think i can add the manuka honey? I saw this one is not foam 🤔
So we don't add distilled water or any other liquid to the mix?
What else can we use instead of castile soap? Its not available in pakistan, kindly tell me an alternate , thankyou❤
Is there something you can add to keep it from separating?
Be careful with this if you have acne. Castile soap has coconut oil
Yeah coconut and castor jacked up my skin, caused textured dry skin
And palm oil... which is a terrible ingredient all around.
Can someone tell me if this helps get rid of blackheads too?
Do you need to moisturize your face after washing it with this? If so, what should I use as a moisturizer?
Hi..is Dr. Bronner's pure castile soap safe to use on face?
I like the ingredients in recipe but won't use that brand of Castile soap bc they use coconut oil which breaks me out. What can I use as an alternative aside from making my own with KOH+.?

Hi. How long would this last for as per the measurements in the video? OK to store normally?
Hi, can I add more water after mixing all of it? And also to make it much 'fuller' in a bottle
Or just double the recipe - I would not dilute it.
Hye just curious... how long will this last long? Because there is no preservatives added...

I hope this works! All those chemicals in store-bought face wash fucked my skin up!
Agree!
@@iamvanessae update: i used raw honey from the grocery store and i can already tell a difference in my complexion and acne!
Nice video. Hope this is good for dry skin
How long would one making be good until? Is there an expiration to it because of the honey?
Honey doesn't go off. You can keep for hundreds of years and still (un-recommended butt) you could eat haha.

Ur nails look so healthy😍 can you do a video about shaping ur nails and how u take care of them?looking forward for that😊

When I combine the honey and the Castile soap, a horrible scent is produced. Is this normal? What can I do to mask this smell?
Hy !
i want to ask you that 1/3 cup is equal to how many ml ?
Can i replace the carrier oil ? I want used argan oil.
Wondering if this will actually clog the pores since it has olive oil in it?
How can it last after they are mixed in?
Do you have to refrigerate it?
And this could last for how many days? weeks?
Can this be used for oily skin?
Raw honey,soap,jojoba oil,tea tree oil,
Can you add real lemon juice?
Hello I've tried it and it doesn't foam
Is it meant to be like that?

Would it be okay to add glycolic acid or salicylic acid to this cleanser
You should use this to get rid of acne ?
is this for sensative skin with rosacea?

Can I use olive oil in this face wash , if there is no Jojoba oil??
Exaktly what i was going to ask..
For the Manuka Honey, would you say that a little bit goes a long way?
yes definitely :)
Can I use Vegetable Glycerin as a soap base?
Hmmm...I haven't tried that before, but I'm sure you could :)
Does it dry your skin after use??
Hi, is it okay to put a cup of water?
It's not necessary and you'd also have to use it up immediately because it would be prone to bacteria!
