Exactly in the same position, except my brother brought it to me. He had bought it years ago and recently found it again in his storage. He was like, is this not something for you and your film photography? 😅 but got no idea how the quality would be. But deff gonna try a with my negatives for my favourite photos and compare them with the scans I received from my go to film lab. 😊

This video can be helpful if it had usable information. How did you get to that menu in the beginning? My HP menu does not look anything like that nor has settings for negative film scanning. Maybe you can go back and explain from the beginning so people can understand.
Do you have a You Tube video showing the placement of the negative and slide holder on the flat bed? Also I was hoping to scan slides and print color photos from them. Do you have a You Tube video or a class showing more about bringing them into Photoshop and creating photos from slides in color? Would love to learn more. Thanks!

I don’t think HP currently produces a printer-scanner with a negative holder. I wonder whether the Salvation Army still has my old one.
I enjoyed revisiting 2014 and Windows XP in this video. Though, as to scanning technologies "And we're waiting..." .. nothings changed.
