Well done Mike. On my layout all I use in F units are ABBA configurations because of my helixes. Nice fix on the engine and track. I keep my minisplit HVAC on 24/360. Good to hear that you fixed a problem with your Mustang. It took me a while to watch this as I have in the hospital since Tuesday and probably won’t go home till Sunday or Monday…..John
Hey Mike, that sucks to hear about the Mustang and the track derailment. It never fails that there has to be issues like that. Glad you were able to get them resolved for the most part.
Great video , love to watch F units running !!! Working under the layout is not bad , the problem is trying to get back on your feet when the job is done ...😅 I would like to have a rope or something attached to the ceiling so I could hang to it or a lift truck 😂
Hi ya Mike. Thanks for the update. I wanted to comment on two things that caught my eye while trains were running through your beautiful layout. The first is how you have such a great eye for color matching. Your terrain always matches the printed/painted backdrops perfectly. And the other was my eye caught a standing figure next to the track, in one of the finished mountain scenes. Which made me realize the very last details of your layout will be to populate it with figures. Humans and otherwise. And I agree with your thoughts on the wide mouth static grass applicator. The “ mini “ versions work better with N scale. Sorry to hear of your “ grommet “ issue on the gas tank filler tube. Okay. That’s it. See ya next time.
Ok so I will start off by saying I really enjoyed seeing the trains run!! I always enjoy seeing your layout and I'm sorry about the car problem but I know you always figure it out!!! And ok I have to admit in the end you got me oh my gosh I did not see that coming ggggrrrr you got me good but you wait next time I will be ready!!! Lol lol 😆 have a great rest if your week remember next time I'll be ready!!! Ggrrrr 🙄💕
Nice Mike. Pet you pups for me and I'll pet mine for you...😅 Yea, our weather went from th1 90s to 100s down to 60 over night so im not getting much done outside 😮
A few days ago a neighbor asked me to crawl under his Mazda and look at his fuel leak. Pulled some skid plates and saw a leak off a few line above the tank. I said Joe, I really don't feel like doing this job. Cost him $435 for towing to Las Cruces, $200 for the replacement fuel line and $800 in labor. He still doesn't have his car back. Next I get to replace our Tacoma door handle and pull the blower motor after mice used the space to store Juniper berries. Hope tha's as deep as it goes. So, I look forward to watching you video to see what you have done. t
I just bought one of those Woodland Scenics static grass applicators, but haven't used it yet. Thanks for the heads up on its limitations. I wonder, can you block off part of the opening to limit the size of the application? Thanks.
A craw is a pouch in a bird's esophagus used to store food before digestion. If something gets stuck there, it is somewhat like you getting something stuck in your throat and they have to work to get it out. So the saying "stuck in my craw" comes from something that you have to work out of your system, something that irritates.
Really enjoyed see the trains run Mike. Layout really looks great.
Thanks for the kind words Gary !
Mike, every time I see those 3 Texaco storage tanks I'm amazed at the realistic weathering! Thanks for another great video.
Thanks Cary , Gavin did them for me !!
Watching your video surely makes me miss my old layout back in Minnesota, but I'm happy to be in Tennessee.
Much nicer where you are now !!!!
Happy Halloween to you and Robin Mr Fifer. Longshots and also close-ups look great 👍 thanks

Love the loads on the gondolas . I only have two gondolas so far . One with pipe and one with a red fine rock . Enjoyed the video .
Hi mike, brilliant as always. For the gaps along the fascia boards could use decorators caulk with a fine nozzle tip. All the best Anthony.
Thanks for the idea Anthony !!

You can but it is just massive to get around other scenery.
Thanks , Mike
Hello Mike, nice🛤🚂📹👍👍👍👍👍.
Greetings Gert
Thanks Gert !!
Re grass applicator: could you tape of some of the sides of the filter to make it a narrow swath instead of wide open? Good luck, Mike.
I answered this in a post below. I could but the machine it's self is so large it is hard to get around scenery that is already there.
Thanks , Mike
🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
Thanks for sharing and watching 👀 lol 😂
Thanks for being here as well Greg.
