The attention to detail on your refurbishment is amazing, I would have recommended buying an HDD caddy to support the HDD on the HDD to keep it a little more stable, they simply slot in :)
I love the mod!!! The only concern I have about copying this for my XBOX is I am afraid the dust would get on the DVD laser lens and require cleaning more often now that it is cut open. Either way, this is awesome!!
I have one of these that is Parental Locked. I have heard I can either contact MS, get a mod chip, or possibly do some part transplants to unlock it. Havent decided, I have many Xboxes to mod and restore lol. This is great inspiration!!
Probably a wise idea to open it and replace the thermal grease on the cpu/gpu though. The stock thermal paste microsoft used was pretty mediocre and replacing it with Arctic MX-4 will keep the system running really cool. Personally if I was gonna get another 360 I'd get a phat Jasper model because the CPU/GPU on those don't have a lid and it's easier to add thermal paste to the die which keeps the chips overall cooler.
Man the 4GB slim is the prettiest console ever, it is so well designed and durable. The only issue is the way it goes together is a pain for repairing them and the vents are kind of fragile and break frequnetly
One of my friends often had troubles with the overheating power adapter. He solved this with a Dremel, by cutting some holes in the plastic cover to get a better air flow ^^

Very very cool restoration and mod!! Just a suggestion, especially because you put a HDD into the XBOX, I'd recommend getting a cheap, aftermarket XBOX 360 slim HDD enclosure to prevent damage to the HDD while it's just hanging in its hole there :D Really enjoyed the video, amazing job!
