Ismet Zonic around 315-330 whp 370-380tq. Speeds rarely ever see past 330 stock turbo unless it's a factory freak, pushing its limits, or a lot of meth. Built motor, meth, stock turbo record is like 374whp.
DailyDriven Speed Yup seems about right. What’s the stock turbo Mazda speed 3 record on the 1/4 mile? There is a few guys that got upper 11s with stock turbo MK7 GTIs. 11.7 at 119 mph I think

DailyDriven Speed any time man, enjoy watching sleepers, had a stage 3 Taurus sho performance pack and just upgraded to the new q60rs and put a tune exhaust and intake on the car. It's pretty zippy. Just not the sleeper the sho was. No one expects a boat to run 12.7!
not bad but e30 vs pump gas not really fair and 19psi is pretty low for a stage 2 car. should be around 24 psi. Hell, I run 20psi peak on my IS20 swapped 1.8TSI.

You gotta give it to the GTI though. The Speed3 from the factory is much more powerful than the GTI from the factory. This just shows you the tuning capabilities of the GTI. Way down on stock power in comparison, but right up there with you when both have the same bolt ons and tunes. If GTI was on E30, it would’ve pulled on you most likely.
Lucian T. Prep work is short for preparation work. Make sure you degrease them, sand them down using a very fine paper, etc. basically making sure the vht will last. I followed a write up I found online. I think it was a frs/brz that they did it on.
rrodfixrguydude This is the owner of the GTI in the video. APR cars are dyno queens. Making 300whp for a split second, then having the power fall off a cliff in the high RPM’s is not efficient. That has been my experience with APR. My GIAC tune isn’t as aggressive as an APR tune, but it’s much more linear. Power is more consistent throughout the RPM range and dose not die out up top. The only drawback for more linear engine mapping is less peak horsepower numbers. Peak power doesn’t win races.
vr6gls I mean that may be your experience with APR but just go to the MK7 forum and see that all the IS20 guys are laying down the fastest times on the official 1/4 mile times list with an APR tune.

An e30 blend on the gti would be a good race id say. I believe the ihi turbo in the gti is also slightly larger than the ko4.

The gti lost because they tend to have less power up top.
Being on E30 against the MK7 immediately makes it unfair considering he only apparently had a tune. I want to see the results mod for mod here.
Giac has a good tune, i would have personally gone with a stratified tune and get a e30 blend for a nice rise in power
