- This is one FULL day of some of they best fly fishing that Colorado has to offer. Nothing was given, everything we got out of this adventure paid for in sweat equity. Canyons can be extremely good places to find big trout that are hungry for hoppers! As big as the payoff can be sometimes.. It must be said.. You need to be very careful. High risk high reward is what I am trying to say. If you were to slip and fall, no one will be there to drag you out of the canyon. Don't be afraid, just prepare accordingly.

lol the bass boys have 10 rods on their boat for a reason. I never thought about it for fly fishing trout though.
