Nobody is even close to Rose's hits total. It seemed like Rose hit a double and scored in every ballgame . He's top 5 all time in doubles and runs scored. If a player had 200 hits every year for 20 seasons , he still wouldn't have as many hits as Rose. He was an All Star at 5 positions, because he was unselfish and would do whatever the manager asked him to do to help the team win. Pete Rose always brought excitement to the game. I loved him in Cincinnati and he certainly made a critical difference in helping Philadelphia to win the World Series. He'll always be in the Hall of Fame in our hearts.
That was so fun! Smiled and laughed through the whole thing.
It is sad that so many baseball players will not be in the hall of fame. I think shoeless Joe Jackson was robbed of his. His stats in world series was the Best yet they said he throw the series. Pete should also be there. Maybe after he is gone.
Put Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame where he belongs!!
Charley hustle loved to watch him play.
I love Pete Rose!
Pete played the game while managing the team, they dont do that anymore!
He could manage his bets better that way
I love pete rose!! Thanks for making my childhood a dream!!!
THE BEST PLAYER of Baseball EVER1
Best player would be Babe Ruth....not only was he a slugger but he won 20 games as a pitcher 3 times BEFORE they made him a slugger!!
Charlie Hustle is 🐐 Babe is good too.
uh, no.
Why would you thumbs down this interview?
Go Rose great guy I would love to meet him
All Time Hits King 👑
I loved watching the Reds in the 1970's. The "Big Red Machine" was one of the best teams ever. I think it is ridiculous that the steroid generation will be represented in the Hall of Fame but not Pete Rose. He id obviously one of the best that ever played the game.
He would get the runner over, sacrifice if he needed to , and was a smart base runner. Rose played all out all the time and hardly ever got injured. He was a hardcore baseball player and a winner
