Grace after season 1 was the biggest travesty. She was so well written and afterwards it was like they forgot she existed.
She was like a different women
They watered down her character so much. I thought they were going to go into her past a little bit more like why she became a spy in the first place. But then they completely stopped her character development and made her an accessory as if she wasn’t in most of the scenes in season one?
I know! Grace from season 1 was so different than grace from seasons 2 & 3

god i love the women in peaky. there's none of that nonsense STRONG FEMALE CHARACTER WHO'S STRONG AND NOTHING ELSE in it. they feel real, and still are badass.

Polly and Arthur's wife are horrible for that.
Arthur's wife is a domineering piece of shit whom tries to control literally every move Arthur makes.
The Polly is doing everything she can yo make sure she's ok.
And she acts like this tough woman, but in reality the character is incredibly weak.
The show is lead by the men. They make the show what it is that's for sure.

No one can be more Badass than Aunt Polly Gray. She had all the talent to overshadow Tommy in any scene

Could've written Grace with more justice to her character tbh, she could've done a lot more than what she was portrayed to be, especially with her occupational background of being a government spy. Like, she could've been MORE than just Tommy's love interest, that's just one part of her character.

exactly! she had so much potential. wish they would’ve at least explored her character a little bit in season 3 instead of killing her off so early on.

@@supernova7848she joined the force in her father’s name and accomplished her mission. In the process she also learned there is no good or bad guys. Campbell was a a despicable man even though he wore the mask of a good man and tommy was vice versa. It was fair for her to quit. But the writing doesn’t do justice to her in later seasons.

@@15dariusklijster33 Grace was a professional spy, or 2-faced parish snitch, whose treachery risked the lives of the Shelbys, & did lead to Danny Whizz Bang's death; a strong & unconventional character series 1, but written back differently, awful, & the idea that the Shelbys, except the much smarter Polly, would just forgive & accept her after that betrayal?! Let alone Tommy marry her; you wouldn't dare trust her! Should've left her in America with her poor husband, who ended up killing himself.
I also did love Linda but anyway she was something else

@@egeaktas3699 i think that might be Tommy's son because earlier on in the trailer you see Tommy looking downwards in what persumabley is a grave and his daughter is standing right next to him wheras his son looks no where to be seen. Plus the body Tommy is holding is very small.

Every time a man tries to explain to me why he doesn't like Grace all I hear is "hi I'm misogynistic with a superiority complex"
Tommy likes women that he can control! Look at who he chose as a wife after Grace died and he treated her like sh!t and told her she was his “possession” and that he “ owned “ her. Superiority complex much ???
He chose Grace over May whereas May had a lot more to offer personality wise . The only women he could not control were Tatiana and Jessie Eden , they were pretty badass but Tommy chose wallflowers

May- was desperate and horny and he knew it! He pitied her that she still wanted him even when he was leaving her for someone else…she was readily letting him take advantage of her business contacts.. she was the easiest yet he rejected her
Lizzie- she was a doormat that he used now and then and did not intend to marry ever…she got lucky to get pregnant … he married her for the child and treats her like his exclusive w**re
Tatiana- is a psycho and he had no admiration for her.. she wasnt classy even though a royal and he doesn’t trust her around Charlie. He was emotionally broken after Grace’s death and grieving for her.. tatiana took advantage of that to get control by bringing grace up in their encounters… she didnt stand a chance if he was in his normal state of mind ( grace was alive)
Jessie - he managed to manipulate and control her too..she slept with him and gave him important contact numbers
Grace was the only one who was a challenge… as a barmaid she was witty and unafraid to talk to him…as a spy she outsmarted him.. as a lover he constantly tried to impress her… as a wife she kept him in check!!!!
