super turnaround that bet loads of owners cringe when insurance do thier checks and write off because of parts and labour stay safe boys look forward to the next one.ps can i be cheeky be cheeky and put a call out on youre channel i need to find a workshop manual for a 2000 ford puma 1.7 cant get 1 anywhere
Insurance assessor went balls deep with his red pen 😲 You guys are going to have to keep a eye out for the "magic red pen" so you can pick up quick turn around bargains...great video as always 👍👏👍
Rob, I really like how diligent u are, I recently bought a damaged/repaired fiesta & the repair job was shockingly bad with cable ties holding the bumper on, but I’d happily buy one of your repaired cars, you’re a top bloke 👍
yet again great video, the number plate was already broken before you dropped it, looking at the video, but loved watching the process of the start of the repair.
You're right about the mirror covers, they should be silver-grey to match the lower bar on the bumper... Tailgates on Clios seem to be very, very soft. They almost always seem to have dents in them when you see them out and about... More very nice work from you guys, the attention to detail makes all the difference to a rebuild, and is often missing in professional bodyshop work. She's going to look fantastic with the paint done and all polished up...
Looks like another cracking little motor has been saved from unnecessary destruction. Will make a great little runaround for someone. I love these videos. Thanks to you it gave me the confidence to get some body panels from a breaker when my mum had a bump in her polo a few months ago. It would have been a write off if the insurance has been involved. Instead it was fixed the Salvage Rebuilds way 👍
Like the lorry load of cars that was a great insight into the Salvage world ,and nice to see you fix a Japanese car for a change .Bring on the L. 200and the shoguns, now that would make supreme viewing.
Another enjoyable video. Shows how with the insurance assessor's list of items to be "Replaced" this car was basically written off when with effectively a bumper repair & new "none franchise" headlight unit this car is back on the road for minimal cost. Years of service left in the car.
Your content is brilliant, I'm far from an expert or know much about cars, but when I want time out to watch something I get mad excited when you post new stuff. Wish you and your team all the best
It just shows how the insurance guys right off cars ,rob your putting life back into some good cars and affordable we don’t all have lots of money 💴 nice one rob 👍😎
Oh Rob, if only they were all this easy. Sure you'd a few problems, wheel nuts, tailgate access, a headlight and trying to line up the bumper. lt's all been worth it though, what a great looking car. Add a new number plate, some paint. And it'll sell in a blink, what a nice earner! Shane. :-)
Looks like a lovely little Clio - it’s nice to see these cars repaired and put back on the road. Too many financed cars about now. What happened to Saturday jobs on the driveway? It’s a dying art! Great video, can’t wait to see the next instalment
TheCamshafter Amen to that. There is a guy down the road to me with a P plate Escort Mk6 convertible...it’s peeling paint bit still looks better than half the flashy motors
Great work as always guys never be embarrassed about making a profit. If more people knew their job they would have seen the potential and bought that car. 👍👍
Just let my TV set run on and went to your catalytic converters from 8 months ago, very interesting and educational. The Clio is gonna be greatest. Amazing how many parts you all are able to save, true professionals!! Look forward to the next one.
Yet another great video guys always looking forward to seeing these cars getting a new lease off life love it keep up the on saturday work fantastic work 👍👍👍👌👌👏👏
You guys make it look easy but so much attention to detail. Be a lovely car for someone hope you make a few quid. Looking forward to the next project! Great channel.👍
Looked a lot better as soon as you had removed all that silly red writing off it and wow what a transformation after you and Chris had worked your magic on it 👍😃
Done one of these recently....if you want to close the gaps at front of the wing between the bonnet and wing loosen the bolts by were the door mirror is and adjust. Sounds strange but it works 😉👌.
Can't believe how many parts the insurance assessor wanted too replace, no wonder nice wee cars like this are written off, thankfully you an Chris know what your doing an still make a nice wee profit 👍
The paint and headlight add more cost than you want, but that is life and not a killer. You made good progress and will have a good starter car for someone. It was too good to break for spares.
Hi Rob & Chris, great start to my day watching this video, the Renault again proving to be a great result off the "transporter", enjoying this run of video's guys. Cheers, Alex.
Had to wait until it was late to watch your latest one... Another top transformation, you guys always make it look relatively easy but you also clearly put the hours in. Looking forward to seeing the finished article. Cheers.
Never really liked the Clio but looking hard and long could be a nice run a round for somebody. Bit of thinners and some second hand parts not counting the headlight and Bobs your uncle. Thanks boys always find your videos interesting
We've had one of these mk3 Clios in our family for nearly 12 years now from new, cracking little cars. I'm trying to do mine up a bit to get it in good running shape, this one in the video is in really good shape to be honest not much rust anywhere
Cheers for another really interesting video Rob. I used to own a Renault Clio and it was always a pain getting spares for it because Renault would use so many different suppliers for the parts.
Have it looking like new guys in super quick time .....a bit of paint work and it's ready to " go out the door " as u say rob ...enjoyable stuff fellows keep it up ..

Sure no problem I have pinned your post to the top 👍
@@sruk thanks rob they are like rocking horse manure, really grateful
@@a11csc surley chris must have one of those rob!!!
Do you mean a HBOL? I don't think they made one?
No haynes manual for pumas. I used to have a puma and got a fiesta haynes for the 1.7 engine. I got a suzuki jimny now, no haynes for that either..
Cup of coffee and a Salvage Rebuilds marathon on this miserable wet day 😊, Great as usual Rob 👌
Rob, you and Chris are on fire mate. The channel has got to be the best available in the country right now. Excellent just top drawer. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏴
Insurance assessor went balls deep with his red pen 😲
You guys are going to have to keep a eye out for the "magic red pen" so you can pick up quick turn around bargains...great video as always 👍👏👍
Nicely done an easy fix and flick . The new intro is top notch 👍👌
Love that little Clio myself, you’ve saved a good little car, and it’ll be a bargain for someone once you put it up for sale 😎👍🏼
Wow what a cheap buy, and such a fantastic rebuild! Keep it up 👍👍
Rob, I really like how diligent u are, I recently bought a damaged/repaired fiesta & the repair job was shockingly bad with cable ties holding the bumper on, but I’d happily buy one of your repaired cars, you’re a top bloke 👍
Underrated cars these. They drive really well. Those engines are bomb proof too. Nice car for someone.
Very nice, Rob. Enjoyed this one. Can't believe how you continually turn ugly ducklings into swans.
Like the new intro

And me!

Great job Rob and Chris,
You deserve to make profit and efforts are paid beck.
Good approach to the improvement of cars which others don't want to do.
I always enjoy (and look forward to) your videos! 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice little first car, and should be a nice profit. Good video again. Thanks both👍
What a bargain for all the spare parts brilliant
Nice little run about Rob you certainly got a few bargains of CoPart 👍🛺🛺

Great to see two fellers who are not afraid of a bit of graft to make a shilling.
Yet another great video. That will be a super car when it’s finished.
