We know the folks who run that boat, nice people. Have been to Tangier many times, we are close to Buzzard’s Point. So glad you enjoyed your adventure!
@@natureventures I fell in love with the place myself about 9 years ago. Your video was great and I'd like to offer you some more time on the Island to get to know us a bit better. You may have guested that I own the Bay View Inn and can offer you a 50% discount on your next visit, if you wish. You would have time to talk to some of the people there and see for yourself what the island has to offer. Jim.
Did you go on the beach? Did you rent a cart?, if so, how much did it cost? I'm looking into potentially booking a stay with my girlfriend in the summer.
This was my first time. I wasn't able to see the beach this time because we only had 2 hours to spend there but I really wanted to. This year I'm planning to see it. And I didn't rent a cart, that's actually a good idea! I don't know why I didn't think of that.
If you googled, you’d have seen COVID did get to the island. Just 8 months after it all started, since it’s so isolated. Besides, my parents follow the island’s facebook page since my dad was raised there. I knew about COVID getting there when it happened lmao
Was there years ago and loved it. Such a quaint, friendly place...and the food was wonderful. Long live Tangier Island!

I also see that you passed the menhaden plant pretty cool right
Wonderful
Sorry you missed the Bay View Inn, the oldest house on the Island.
I'm planning to go there again hopefully this year. Really loved that place!

That's amazing! Thank you! I'll definitely let you know and get back to you.
Jim sounds like a good guy to know. The island looks beautiful and might just be mine and my girlfriend's vacation spot this summer.
You went out of buzzard point correct?

We went there in august and golf cart rentals were not available
Was their law enforcement on the island
As far as I remember, I didn't see any
There is a county jail but if you do something bad enough you get a boat ride or a plane/helicopter ride to the jail
L music choice
