If you missed out on getting the Cycle 8, then you would probably like the NEO 80. It also has ball-and-catch for the case plus a magnetic connector for the PCB

Totally agree and I owned 3 of them personally and they are great for guys that are not too demanding but want to elevate their typing experience with wonderful price performance ratio.

My tkl monsgeek board is my favorite board I've ever used. Great quality and it's been my daily driver for a year now

If you're really tight on the money, the CIY tester 68 (available basically around the world)is also an option. It is as barebones as it possibly can. It was my first board and I would say it does what it is meant to do.
Big thumbs up and love the awesome content up my guy!! I've been sucked into the keyboard hobby for a while and am in love with the horizontal scroll wheels (not knobs) on keyboards like the Luminkey75. It would be awesome if you could make a video about the niche-r aspects of the community, like solenoid keyboards!

Does the Monsgeek m series support VIA? I thought most of them didn’t, because there is now a M1W VIA edition coming out. No VIA support is what broke the deal for me.

Hello! I love your videos, wanna scratch that off! I have a question though: I really dig the Sugar65 and HI75 and the prices you show for them are really appealing, but I cannot find them with these 35$ price tags. Can you please tell me where I can source them from? :)
Trick:
If you want a TKL that can be build no foam, clacky like higher end boards, buy the mainland Chinese version of the Monsgeek M3. It has everything you want: "accidently" well designed sound chamber, 1.6 mm pcb without flex cut, almost evenly distributed gasket point (just remove the one under the spacebar) and north facing stab wire.

I'm sure someone has or will mention the Neo series but I would add the Luminkey65, you can get it barebones or pre-built. I went barebones with WS Heavy Tactiles and GMK BoW and it is definitely one of the best sounding keyboard I own. They might send you one if you ask as they are trying to keep them in stock and probably need to get the word out. The NuPhy GEM80 is also very nice and has, at least to me, a unique sound signature as well. I would hope they as well would send you a review unit... I mean you are over 100K subs, they both should want to hear your thoughts as we do. Great list, guess I need to try the Cycle7 soon!

AULA F75 is budget king in my opinion. Just ordered it from (taobao) for 199 yuan (about 20-30 USD original price in America is 69.99) it’s kinda like a better HI75 but a plastic case.

Womier SK71 is probably one of the best budget keyboards around too. Somewhat budget, complete kit at 100 bucks

Probably was already said but Neo series. Just my opinion but I prefer them to the TKD Cycle boards and they tend to be cheaper with everything or more.
I recommend Yunzii AL66 , its wireless, aluminum, and 65%, its like a metal Gmk67

the TKL will be aluminium only, we havent really ventured into the polycarbonate side of things, but definitely looking into it!

This is a pretty solid list. The one I wish I had the money for right now, is the Killer65. I know it's your board, but it definitely deserves to be on the list anyway. Really solid board for not an insane amount of money. (just more than my poverty level income ass can afford right now...maybe FB will stop throttling the reach for my page and I can get one eventually now that I'm monetized there)

I personally think that any board that is under 200$ is like low-mid tier, while there is no accurate price for the high end segment at all since there are a lot of fucking expensive board like austin, keycult, glacier and much more

Crap. I wished your video came out earlier. Not sure what i would want as i am just starting out. So waiting for my Machenike K500 wired keyboard to arrive as i am typing this. Got it as it's one of the cheapest i can find. And since i am a beginner. I figured i can use it a couple of months then mod it a bit. Then maybe find something else in future if i decide to fall down that rabbit hole
