Thank you for the demonstration, this motor and pro I had to use on build I am doing, end up changing it to a 2212 915kv motor with a 9x4 prop. So now I will use it on a next build asap.
@@adrianlee30 I was hoping this little motor would be enough. It did pretty good. I could definitely go with a larger motor if I wanted to go faster but this does pretty good and it's fairly efficient
Nice build. I am especially partial to these designs that basially just repurpose quad parts and when I got into transitioning from quads to planes felt that there was a lack of designs in that niche. With the exception of the battery which could just as easily have been a 4S quad battery with a throttle limit this is just the kind of plane I would have loved to see built or designs of back then. Probably could have done with a little bit of a bigger wing span for it to be a good design for beginners, but it at least seems like a simple build even if flying is less beginner friendly.
@@johanfredriksvendsen8482 I wouldn't call this beginner friendly to fly but it is easy to build. Especially after you've built 50+ planes lol but it flies great. I had the extra small motor so I figured I'd put it to use. This design is a larger version of a plane I built last summer that went 115mph. This only the second low wing V tail I've built but I really like the way these fly. I decided 36" would be easy to fit in the car and also light enough for the small motor and 3s battery. I do have some build videos for this plane coming. I've been super busy with work. I'm glad you enjoyed this one! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Great build as usual. 2 Questions, 1 comment. It appears that you’re using a Spektrum Transmitter. What is the tail setting on the wing type options for the V Tail. Thinking about building one. Also, What is the wingspan. Perfect, fun size. Comment. Try launching with an underhand toss. Grab the top of the fuselage right around the C/G and give it a slightly upwards toss. I find that I have much more control with the underhand method.
@@gisall8205 the V tail is set as a normal v tail. I've just got the servos set with 30% expo that's it. Really simple. As for the launch I prefer over head launch. The wing span is 36" for this low wing.
@@capnhardway he flys. Not so much lately. He kinda got out of it a bit and hasn't flown in a while. He's flown here and there but doesn't feel comfortable flying any of my planes lately. We are working on building something small that has safe that he feels comfortable flying again. The last couple times he's crashed and it kinda put him off flying a bit. But he still likes going with. If you look back at some of my older videos he used to fly more with some of our simpler slower planes.
Nice build bro. That thing looks like it’s on rails… 👍🏻

Nicely done, this design looks like a real winner!

a beautiful small plane
@@kostasp-ef3p thank you. This is my second low wing built. It's a little bigger than my speed v tail I built and handles just as good.
