Plus, i totally appreciate your utmost honesty on how you price these early gen GMT800 pickups. They’re getting rarer on the used car market much like my Crown Vic. Back in 2006 when I was a high school senior and I wanted a 99-02 Silverado, they were quite plentiful, now 18 years later, not as much 😢
I definitely want to get one before they become as expensive as a low mileage, 90s gen Supra!
From now to the next 3 years will be the best time to get one.. because after that they will start to really climb in price.

I’m a fan of 2wd . I never owned a 4 wd in my 66 years on this planet. Never got stuck that I needed help getting un stuck. Lived up north till my early 20s had a lotta fun in snow and ice on not the best tires. Got to say I saw a few 4 wd off the road after storms / bad weather in Texas n Georgia … now I don’t hunt n get in major off road.
I enjoy a simple existence … maintain my own vehicles … try to buy with less equipment ( no sun roofs , wind up windows when I could) … has worked for me.
Oh yes ,,, I do buy take offs so I can keep new ( ish ) tires on my vehicles ( saw three daughters through h/s and college with shortbed v8 . ) kept 4 to 5 hundred lb of elevator steel weight behind the cab ,,,, better handling n traction. Helped that I flipped the old wheels n tires… n had a ‘system’

I have a 2005 Silverado LS 4.8L Ext Cab 4 Door with 142k that I can't sell and don't know why. I had it on OfferUp and it was the best looking truck in the Inland Empire CA. I'm asking what it's worth and nothing.
That truck is worth anywhere from $8k-$10k just depends on how clean it is. Hope that helps 👌🏾
Getting a 03 from a friend soon it has 183,000 and has the 4.3 but is really clean and I found a local donor truck with only 104,000 with the 5.3 same year anyone thinking what im thinking Engine swap time
Would 10,500 be good for a 06 Silverado 1500 with sunroof and dvd and 165k miles? It’s in good shape on the Interior and the rust is just starting on the rockers and cab corners but none on the frame yet
