I still have got a classic recording of this tune by the BBC Scottish Variety Orchestra(leader Dennis McConnel, conductor Jack Leon, operating 1949 till mid60s) I still am searching for more material of them. But ...most has been destroyed by BBC themselves(!!!!!)If interested,I can give an explanation to that.(promoting their Celtic Connections,or...Celtic Confectionaries, als called in initiated circles)
The other tunes played here are the overpopular Soldiers Joy,Kate Dalrymple,Davie Knick knack .Kate Dalrymple always was the opening tune of Scottish Dance programmes in the UK,not in de USA,Canada,Australien and New Zealand.

@@ScottishCountryDancing Jim Lindsay....a great participant in the scene, has a band of his own and is 2nd box player in the Gordon Shand Band (Any relation to Sir Jimmy UNKNOWN so far) Jim replaced Edward Galley as 2nd box player in the same band,Tom Hamilton as Fiddler was replaced there by Alison Smith, former Fiddler in the Craig McCallum Band.
