All About Aerospace Tek and New Prints

We have new prints in Aerospace Tek! Leslie shows off the new prints and colour matches with Polartec Classic 200 weight fleece (and a little with Polartec High Loft and Alpha Direct). Aerospace Tek is a water repellent and wind proof very light shell fabric (it's not a technical breathable shell). It's great for kid's (or adult) windbreakers, for using as a functional decorative touch for fleece garments (it adds wind and light rain protection), and it can even be used for lightweight running style shorts. Thanks for the walk through. What is the binding on your vest? Does the aerotek fray? Would that make binding?

That particular vest is bound with a knit binding you can find here. discoveryfabrics.com/products/knit-and-lycra-binding?variant=45549308805442
You could also get a similar appearance with fold over elastic.
The Aerospace Tech does fray a bit and has no stretch so I wouldn't recommend it for binding. You would certainly have to encase the raw edges.
