I had a wind-pro fleece by Marmot years ago and it finally needed replaced. That was the single most useful garment for outdoor use that I've ever owned. I couldn't find wind-pro from any manufacturer. Good to see that the fabric is still being made and hope to see some offerings soon.

This fabric sounds great. I overheat in soft shells with micro fleece and the moisture sits uncomfortably on the fabric. So much for moisture wicking. 🙄 Grid fleece is an improvement but this Polartec Alpha seems far better.

2 yards of plum became 2 pillows and the scraps will become scrunchies. I'm a long time silk pillowcase user. First set came from Etsy (reputable Canadian shop). This new silk feels more robust than I remember my old ones when they were new, sold as 22 mme. Very pleased. My face and hair love it.

I just got the Skims soft lounge leggings which are 91% Modal and have a sort of ribbed texture. Initially I was annoyed at how thin they were but I put them on and fell in love. I wont be able to wear them in winter though, I’d freeze. My sensitive skin loves how soft they are though.

Thanks again for featuring the new pattern and educating us on all the performance fabrics that are sun protective and wicking! I find my sample made with Polartec Delta to be extremely comfortable in both mid-day sun as well as a touch of warmth as the sun sets. I had no idea UPF30 was so protective!
