Can you print on corduroy or screen printing on corduroy
Will basting Adhesive work? 1:03
this is SO SIMPLE and nobody said it like this, thank you!!!
Thank you so much! This is just what I was looking for. I want to make a quilt for a teacher who is retiring and want to put Bible verses on the squares. I think this will work perfectly. I can't wait to try it!
You are so welcome!
Wow! I wish I had come across your video years earlier. I was trying to print pictures of my family on material for a quilt. I tried every method I could find and finally gave up and bought printable fabric paper. This will still come in handy because I need to add new family members to the quilt and won’t have to buy the expensive fabric paper. Blessings to you!!!
It doesn’t hold up really well to machine washing
Thank you so much for sharing this technique! Lynn
You are so welcome!

Thanks! And goodness I have a lot to learn.
Glad it was helpful. Thanks for following along.
Great tutorial, I have seen something like that years ago, here's what I wished I knew before starting that project, of course I was doing that for fun. I have tried that years ago on inkjet printer. the issues that I encounter was that some print were washout because the fabric absorb plenty of the ink. When I research I understood that the fabric need some sort of treatment before printing on it for better result. Maybe one will get better result from a laser printer.
Yes laser will be better
Oh my gosh, the possibilities are endless for this technique. I have a vintage family recipe I plan to print on tea stained muslin. I have a inkjet printer. Should the graphic be sealed after printing? Perhaps hair spray or poly?
Good question
Following
I have never sealed or washed mine so Im unsure how they would hold up. I use it mainly on my signs. Would be worth a try and see how they hold up . Thanks for watching
That is friggin brilliant!

Have you ever used freezer paper.? Just cut to size and press your fabric to it and run through the printer. I like this method better than spray adhesive. Love all your videos and have used several of your techniques.😀
I have and I didn't have good success?? Maybe my freezer paper wasn't a good quality one. Thanks for watching Sandra

GLUE STICK WORKS GOOD. GLUE IS TACKY ENOUGH BUT EASY TO REMOVE FROM PAPER AFTER PRINTING.
Another great idea 💡
Thanks for watching ❤️
This is so cool, im wondering how to make a tote bag or a scarf and i wanted to make the design and get the design printed on paper and then get the paper transfer on fabric but this would be useful tysm ❤
That's a great idea!
Fabulous gurl!

Definitely going to try this! Curious how stable the ink is on fabric. Have you washed any of the fabrics you have done this way?
This project is not washable. It is just for Decor. Thanks for watching Mary Ann Have a great weekend.
Thanks!
Wow - thank you so much!
Amazing 👌✨✨✨thanks for sharing it 🌷🌷🌷🇶🇦
Thanks for watching
Who knew! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing that. Can't wait to try it.
Question, will the ink be permanent (will you be able to wash once image is on fabric)?
Yes, would like to know, too.
I haven't washed any projects that I have used it with. I mainly add them to signs ect. Nothing that would have to be washed. You would have to test it first and see how it holds up . Every printer could be different! Hope that helps. Thanks for watching Donna
Great idea!
Thanks for watching Barbara
thank you
You're welcome
Cool idea
Thanks glad you enjoyed
Great idea
Thanks for watching ❤️
@RobynsLoveofSewing this is one of the vids I saw for printing onto fabric xx
Love this ❣️
Thanks for watching ❤️
I've been looking for a process that eliminates the white background with transfers--AND YOU DID IT! Thank you. Do you add something that keeps the colors from fading or dissolving?
This is not washable so not sure how to keep from fading
I’m excited to try this method! Just wondering, what happens if you out this through the wash? Will the ink bleed?
I usually do projects that don’t need to be washed
Wow great idea!❤💐
Thanks for watching
Liking this. You are amazing.
Thanks glad you are enjoying ❤️
Love this! I do bookbinding with cloth covers and this will jazz up a few books. Problem is, the first couple of times I did this it worked. Now my printer won't pick up no matter what I do to reinforce the top of the paper. Any ideas? Have you had this problem?
I've solved my prolem. I found another channel about this and she started using freezer paper but then found full-sheet labels! I had some of these I found at a thrift store - and they work great!
Does it need to be a ink jet printer? Love watching your videos
You can use either. Thanks for watching Jeanna
This is amazing. So this works only with an ink jet?
No works with ink jet or laser jet!!
@@OurUpcycledLife awesome..thank you so much
Best tutorial to date for this method! Nice clear instruction and just curious what brother printer model are you using?
Glad it was helpful: amzn.to/3acMtD8
That turned out really cute! Thanks for sharing. I would like to try making a pillow with this technique...is there someway to set the ink so it doesnt fade..like ironing it? Thanks
I haven't wash any of my diys so far so I am unsure. You would have to do a test swatch
Such a great idea! Thank you! Do you think it would work with drop cloth? I have some of that I need to use up!
Yes I think it will ❤️ thanks for watching
Would I be able to print on canvas or any other thicker fabric ? Thank for your sharing 💗
It would have to be able to go thru printer
Hi. I like your videos! I have been looking for a transfer like this. Could wax paper be used to do the transfer? Thank you!
No it doesn’t work well
I have been wanting to make my own quilt labels. I will give this a try. I only have a laser printer. Is it going to be machine washable?
I don’t think it will hold up well in wash for long term
I want to do this and put on a handbag. What would I use for that? Also what model is that printer?
WOW! Great!
👍😎👣🧵
Just a quick question please...
What would be the durability of the ink for a couple of normal machine, washes?
I'm creating lightweight canvas bags (that may require a wash or two ~ and dried in the shade)...
Am just looking for a handy tip.
Cheers 👍😎👣🧵
Not sure I have not tried that so you might want to do a test one and see how it holds up
@@OurUpcycledLife Thankyou for your kind response...
Will do...
I was just being a Mr Lazy~Pants. (Typical of me) 👍😀👖...
Cheers Rob
Thanks for showing this technique! Do you know if it can be done on aida cloth?
Yes you can!
@@OurUpcycledLife Thanks!
I enjoy watching and learning from your videos. I just wanted to ask, could I use a different type of adhesive spray or glue instead of the spray that you used in this video?
Yes you can!
This is amazing but unfortunately I can't do this on a hoodie 😕
Ms Diedre, I noticed an impression was left on the bond paper when you removed the fabric; will you be using the bond paper for another craft?
You def could! Thanks for watching
Love this idea… can k it be washed though? Does it use regular inkjet ink? And does it work better on certain fabrics? Thanks!
This is not washable
Hi Deidre, awesome as usual! Can you drop where you got the floral you showed for the first hoop?
Just from the Dollar store ! Thanks for watching Monica
Hi there thanks for sharing this with us. I have a question... the fabric doesn't get sticky?
Not at all
Thanks!❤️
I want to do this and put on a handbag. What would I use for that?
Did you say this was a "temporary" spray adhesive you used or just a regular spray adhesive? Thank you!
Temp
This might be an odd question, but - won't it wash off if water gets onto it?
Or is there something you can add to it so that doesn't happen?
(( I'd love to try this for doll clothes, but sometimes those get dirty when photos are taken outside, and need a quick wash ))
This method is not washable unfortunately
