I would like to see what it looks like after a few months. I have tried for years to propagate but everything just dies within a short period of time. They never root for me.
I also would like to see one of these hanging plants after a month or after the leaves have grown roots.

Awesome way to reuse plastic bottles and other plasticwares, I could see this as a company and helping this earth , because small ideas like these could become big if an investor would patent it.

I tried this and the nodes wouldn't fit through the hole. So, I made the holes bigger and now I'm worried because the holes are rough and may damage leaf during the propagation as it grows. Do you have matured plants that are soing well with this method of potting. Anyways fingers crossed 😊

Very cool. What came in the small plastic bottle. I recycle all my plastic but try not to buy much. That said.. can’t think what product would be in it. And where do you get (brand) of those lovely plastic plates. Don’t buy those either cause I have to wash to recycle so what’s the point. Please help.
I love this idea, it is beautiful and upcycled, but how would you "re-pot" it when it becomes mature and possibly root bound?

Lovely, but not sustainable. Eventually your plant will need to be re-potted and that is going to be near impossible to get them free from due to growth and abundance.

Im not sure baout wandering jew to be an in haus plant. Whem ever i grow them it wilts from my pruning of my pot fm my window sill repotting them to grow inside

I have a question. What type of plants do you add to it? Do you just clip off leaves and stick them in it? Do they have to have roots growing in them???
Some type of plants doesn't need roots to grow..

This can be done with just the 2 liter bottle. cut the bottom into about a cup size and use that for your water. Put the cap end into the water "cup" and string it up.
