I imagine the crush being at the party and the rival deciding to be defensive.
And the crush was kissing her best friend at the party ✨ which is why the rival gets extra defensive

no stop bc the fl would walk into the party and see the crush and the fl would go up to him and ask why he didn't text back. the crush would then go on to say, you should have waited for me instead of going to this party, trying to put the blame on her. the crush would try to hit her but he would be stopped by the rival. the rival would ask if anything is going on and the crush would back off and leave the party. rival would then pull fl into a hug and ask if she's okay. she would then cry into his shoulder and the rival would say that she deserves better. 🤭
