Thank you for your gracious use of this classic match!
    PertSnergleman's Review:
In 1991 Karin Kschwendt reached the third round of the Australian Open, a result that broke her into the top 100, and she finished the year at No. 88.
Monica Seles went on to win the Women's Singles title at the 1991 Australian Open, which was held from 14 through 27 January 1991.
Seles became the first woman in the Open Era to win the Australian Open after saving a match point (in the semifinals, versus Mary Joe Fernandez).
Seles was only 38 computer points away from being ranked as the No. 1 women's player in the world after winning the 1991 Australian Open.

+cmlee1974 I only thought it's fair to share the Monica love to everyone around the world! I hope you continue to enjoy these great early round and obscure matches from the 90's, mostly featuring the young Ms. Seles!!! Thanks & Enjoy!

The beginning of Monica's incredible run through '91 and '92 - winning six out of the seven grand slam tournaments she entered! Thanks so much for posting!

+Tom Ogden Word. Seles crushed the '91 & '92 seasons... If only "grunt-gate" didn't happen at Wimbledon '92 she may have had another Slam under her belt, the way she was playing! Thanks and Enjoy!

This camera angle is so silly. Very frustrating to watch from so far out and so high up!!

+trent8002003 As this stadium was built in 1988, the camera angles were not envisaged for 1080 HD widescreen... I guess? Either that or they forgot to use the Zoom Lens!

+PertSnergleman Not really. It wasn't a matter of widescreen or not. It was a matter of the camera mounted simply too high up. It was probably at the same level of the control booth which was at the top of the stadium. After 94, the camera was moved downward signifcantly and the view was immeasurably better. Some one was listening!

+trent8002003 thanks for the information. It was after 1993, though, as the angle was lowered before the 1994 Open. Cheers!
