A2 doesnt have an optical slave and cant be tyriggered by other lights but you can use the optical slave on Godox lights and trigger them with the A2. Most of the Godox lights i know have the optical slave .
Either one is fine , having both i still use the AD 100 more . Its easier to use an S2 bracket to adapt it for different light modifiers unless like Profoto you have to use the proprietary system which are very expensive . Also the remote triggers for Profoto are expensive and i had a Connect Pro going bad in 2 months . They did replace it because was under warranty but it took 5 weeks ! With Godox i have 5 years old triggers still going strong and are supper cheap and reliable. With Godox being not expensive you also will figure out if this size flash its good for your needs without spending lots of money . So my suggestion will be AD 100 Let me know if you have any other questions , Cheers !
Profot is Great if you mix between iphone and a camera shots. of course it's a more expensive option but yet is must refined product, but in the end the day is about the owner eco system preferences and budget.
I love to use Profoto with my Iphone , special now with the 16 when you can choose F1.4 . It blurred the line between camera and phone pics. I wish the profoto camera app will have more controls !
They tried with some gizmo and they failed . I think only a handful of photographers use the flash with the phones and doesnt seem like it created interest. I am one of them 🤣. But i use LED lights with the phone lately and i have more control and for quick snap shots works great
@ There is a HUGE market for social influencers who's use instagram for this type of lighting and as you mentioned on your past response, that matter of a fact is once "they" i meant as a market realise this tool it will be huge for Godox. the portability and flexibility is Big.

Usually photographers go for Profoto if you travel for work or have big project and you need to rent equipment . Rental houses dont have Godox but are full of Profoto gear. Also if you hire assistants for a job they are certainly familiar with Profoto because is what photogs rent when need it. I only use Profoto for this reason and i have to learn the system for when i cant take my equipment with me . Due the fact people see in big jobs Profoto gear they associate it with industry standard and think are the way to go. I had 2 triggers failed me last year and took 5 weeks to get them repaired and the quality is not that great like people say it is. I have lots of money invested in Profoto and believe me not everything is that great like people think it is .
They have resolved the green cast by changing the front Fresnel apparently, I have one on the way so will be checking this.
Great channel man! Loving the content
Appreciate it!
I hope GODOX moves to the large LCD screen, it would be worth paying a little extra and make it more modern looking for sure.
They will eventually but yes i can appreciate some more modern look for sure
Great video, very informative.
Thank you Carlos !
May I know how to set the A2 to use with Godox via optical slave?

@ I think if Godox implemented the ability to shoot with mobile phones, i'm 100% sure profoto would have a hard time on sales.

300$ vs 1100$ and I can’t see a real difference between the two. Why would anyone go for profoto ? I just don’t understand.
