In my 991.2 and now my 992 the first thing I do it go to Sport mode, for the fun and sound but also turning off the auto start stop mode, that doesn't belong in a 911. The size is subjective but what does help is the rear axle steering to give it a smaller feel. My 991.2 didn't have it, my 992 does and I do like it and would spec it again. Manual is a must and the 992 is even better than the 991.2 - especially if you go with a T due to the shorter shift lever. As far as specialness, you need full leather - my 992 has it and it's a huge upgrade. Also sport seats are a must for me too. The T comes with some specialness baked in and that might be the answer to most of your concerns (clutch is still light though). My main negative for the 992 is the price, they are getting very expensive - I paid $84k for a used 2018 T with 5k miles in 2021. Sold it for $113k (sticker) and my 992 was for MSRP and was $143k... that hurt. Overall I much prefer the 992, save for the goofy door handles that are overly complex and the exhaust is a bit quiet but I hear that it does open up a bit after a couple thousand miles (I'm still in break-in).
I actually just ordered a T last week. It’s slated for November delivery. I’m super excited. I ordered 18 way seats (yes I know it flies into he face of the intent of the T but I want comfort)…however, now I am a little worried that they might not be as comfortable as they sound. I’m going to try to find a 911 with 18 ways to try this weekend actually. Did you run 18 ways? If so, what are your thoughts?
@@Rennthusiast You're going to love it. 18-ways should be fine so long as you don't go for the ventilated seat option (it adds a hard air bladder inside the seat bottom and makes the seats uncomfortable). I got the 4-ways and I am happy with them - I'm around 6' tall and 190lbs. but YMMV. I even got the back seats in my T (sacrilege I know but I wanted the added usability and could justify the 911 over the 718 that way 😛 )
Funny, my very rare, 997.1 X51 pack, manual box 2S w carbon Ceramic brakes … just felt ordinary sometimes. Black, loved it clean and hated otherwise! Same w the clutch. Sold it … and now I miss it!

Did you run 18 ways? If so, what are your thoughts?
@@Rennthusiast You're going to love it. 18-ways should be fine so long as you don't go for the ventilated seat option (it adds a hard air bladder inside the seat bottom and makes the seats uncomfortable). I got the 4-ways and I am happy with them - I'm around 6' tall and 190lbs. but YMMV. I even got the back seats in my T (sacrilege I know but I wanted the added usability and could justify the 911 over the 718 that way 😛 )
Couldn’t even finish this video
Totally wrong except that manual transmission is the only way
I agree. Shitty video. Was out of ideas that day. Love the 991.2.
You should probably have bought a GTS
Funny, my very rare, 997.1 X51 pack, manual box 2S w carbon Ceramic brakes … just felt ordinary sometimes. Black, loved it clean and hated otherwise! Same w the clutch. Sold it … and now I miss it!
Ask those "annoyances".. So then why did you buy it??? LOL!!! YOU KNEW what you're were getting into...
Never planned to keep it.. ummmmm.... Who go through that tricky of cutting 6 then selling so fast? If you buy as an investment why not aGT3?
?????
Nice comments and I can see what you’re trying to do.
The joke is on you though.
I bought the car back from the guy I sold it to and have put another 5,000 on it over the past 3 months or so.
You’re worried about miles and you have other Porsches please this reel is so snobbish drive it and sell it!
How is trying not to lose money “snobbish?” 😂
I achieved my goal with the car and am now moving into a similar 911 (992 Carrera T) and built it around what I learned I liked and didn’t about this .2.
I also said it’s a tongue in cheek thing….
@@Rennthusiast it sounded that way to me evidently you have coins to have various cars they are investments but only brings what the market for those cars being we’ve seen the highs and the lows yet as I said you have multiple cars Great tongue-in-cheek a profit yet it won’t always happen if u want a museum piece and you want to keep its value don’t drive it but then again it can lose value just sitting. Wake up and Live my friend you can’t take it with you!
That’s why you should drive your spyder 😊 and sell the 911
Spyder has gotten driven almost every day for the past couple of months. Amazing machine. The buckets make it a little impractical for around town errands but I do it anyway.
YOU ARE ANNOYING 😁…not the car…
Thanks!
Your orange side markers annoy me 😅😅😅😅 I thought I am gonna hear something really drastic about your 991.2 but all your problems seem to be first world problems 😅😅😅😅
You could be right.
