I'm a special and elementary education major and little Kaleb is the prime example that you should never limit yourself to your label. Kaleb is reading better than most of my 1st graders, autism or not! Keep up the amazing work you're doing!

there's so much i want to say that i can't even say it all. i am a sibling of a man with autism and it has been very hard for me--i worry of what will become of him, and selfishly, what responsibility i will have when my mother is gone. my brother is high functioning but sometimes that's worse. the important thing is how inspiring people with autism are. he inspired me to go to law school to help ppl with disabilities. praying for your family--theres so much available now. it'll get better.

my son possibly has autism he’s going on 2... they haven’t diagnosed him yet but we’re positive he is.. so many doctors said he wouldn’t be doing a lot but I stopped working full time just to be with him and he’s doing EVERYTHING they said he wouldn’t.. seeing your son progress gives me sooooooo much hope! ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing your story and bringing awareness to Autism. He is truly an Angel. My son is 10 yrs old and he was initially thought to be Autistic. I noticed it after he turned one and was not speaking thankfully we got him the help he needed through speech and occupational therapy. Right now he is still receiving speech therapy in a regular class setting. I love my baby. God always gives us gifts and we just have to appreciate and love them.

Take care, I love watching your videos, you are so beautiful!

I watched this earlier and rewatched again - still in tears. God bless you and your family. Your little man is so smart and you are so awesome to be his advocate. I am a huge supporter of Autism Awareness. My eldest son's best friend is Autistic and so my 9 year old volunteers his time and his breaks from school to help his friend Noah build bonds with other children that do not understand the situation. Recently - things have changed and now Noah is no longer at my son's school...

Thank You for sharing this video with all of us. I hope that this video will spread widely for Many parents who are in denial. Many parents find it hard to accept a diagnosis of Autism. As an Early Childhood Teacher, I have come across many children who were not properly diagnosed. You are an amazing Mother who didn't give in to the Doctor who said there was nothing wrong. There is nothing more powerful than a Mother's intuition. Love the most powerful energy. God bless your son, always!

Thank you for sharing your story! I too have a son who has autism and like you I also am a military wife. We found out our son had autism on the day of his second birthday. It was very hard to take in, even tho I already knew, like you said when your a mom you can see there is something off with your child. I also did research and push to see his pediatrician right away. thats how we were able to find out so soon. Before we got his diagnosis we check his hearing, went to a developmental pediatrician specialist, and started speech therapy right away. My son has ADD and its going on 4 months that we known he has autism. If you have any advice i'm all ears! and thank you again for sharing everything you been through. Makes me feel a little bit better knowing we're not alone.

It’s not going to be easy, but with a lot of hard work things can totally change for the better. Get him in speech, OT, and ABA therapy. You need to make sure that you’re also setting aside time to work with him as well. Take him around as many kids as possible. Try putting him in an activity for his age group that you think would help him. Music, dance, etc. Music therapy is also awesome. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. You can follow me on Instagram. My handle is @letitialaura. I’ll follow you back and you can message me anytime you’d like. These kids are amazing, they just have a different way of learning. I need to do an updated video and update on my son’s progress. Hang in there 💕

My daughter is 18 months old and is exhibiting signs of autism. I first noticed signs when she would not respond to noises or her name. We at first thought it was her hearing but had that checked and it was perfect. She is currently in 2 therapy sessions per week. Occupational and Speech therapy. She has shown improvement since. I know exactly what you are going through. Thank you for sharing your story. It helps to hear others stories. This has been a hard road for all of us.

He was diagnosed with a genetic disorder after also having a seizure (his was febrile) at the age of 3. Once he was diagnosed I jumped on it myself and was able to get him speech,OT. The KEY is to get that early intervention. I know it's hard to believe that there can be something wrong with your child. I want to send big hugs to you and your family and thanks again for sharing.

because of this I have been working with Noah's parents to help change that. But there are not many strong parents out there as you are - pushing to ensure that your child is protected. I am so proud of you and am proud to say I know such a wonderful person as you. And now as my tears are pouring again. I'll be keeping you and yours in my prayers because as a mother of twins who are not yet talking - while they are said not to be autistic, I still worry about that daily.

Amazing video! I have to say, it's amazing to see you fight for your son, I know a young boy who also shows so many signs of autism and I talk to his mom about it (after I learned about autism in school, I study psychology), but she's too busy with her own life to think about her son. That's such a shame and unfortunately more and more common these days. I hope I will be a mother like you if I ever get children later, this video is an inspiration :). Love Xx

Amazing mother you are. My son is 20 months old and still not diagnosed with autism or being on the spectrum. At therapy they just told me he auto stimulates himself way too much because I was letting him watch way too much tv for his age. Which is true (about watching too much tv) I don't know if they just didn't want to tell me that he is in the spectrum because is a sensitive diagnosis or if they were straightforward 💯.
I want to start getting some tests done to start ruling out other factors. So far watching RUclips channels of moms with similar stories and I really loved yours. It gives me lots of hope for my baby. I understand fully how proud you must feel. Hugs to you. And I hope I'm able to give my son the help he needs. Right now I have no clue of what Im doing. 😅

So inspiring! Thank you for making this video, because I know it will help people with autistic children. You are such an amazing mother! I have to say when I was in first grade I was doing pretty much the same thing as Kaelob, and I love to see he's doing so well! xoxo

I keep in contact with Noah's parents often, b ecause my son still has play dates. They had no choice to take him out of school, Noah's mom/dad were not happy with the changes they made to the autism program, they were making harsh changes that sent Noah into shock. He is very autistic and it was hard on his every day life, so the parents have been working with them and they found a program that helps to nurture him. It was a long and hard ordeal - but it seems to be working out. Thank u! xo
