    That's pretty old fashioned for 1986. I had a similar unit, branded Pye (a British company owned by Philips - more or less equivalent to Magnavox I guess, a respected manufacturer who hit the skids financially in the '70s and was bailed out) from 1983 that actually looked less dated than this thing, both inside and out. From the era when Korean stuff was pretty cheap and nasty 😂

      I agree it looks and feels cheap for sure. I really don't think I will work on it any more because it's just not a really good one lol got a JVC stereo receiver I want to fix it's from the mid 90's.
