The sad thing is this operator likely feels that he is a good operator. He is NOT. He would quickly find himself fired from most companies I've ever worked for or known.
The real issue here is the mechanical physics that are impacting the machine itself when operated at speeds like that. Every hard hit into the spoil pile can cause micro-fissures in everything from transmission gears to moldboard and circle pins, brackets, and cylinders. He would have completed the task faster had he articulated and side-shifted, pulling the load out with the tandems directly behind the moldboard and the fronts side-leaning on the last pass. He would have operated at a much slower and safer speed, saving the grader, and producing a better, more compacted result.
Wheres the abuse exactly? I never heard any clanking or metal on metal I just see production. Its a pace your not comforable with and say its bad instead.

The only time I've seen grades move that fast is when they are on the road or backing up to start over I'd not be surprised if he has wrecked a few transmissions.

Spread with a dozer, grade with a blade. Otherwise you are destroying your pins & edges in the grader by constantly loading & unloading your blade. Just saying.
Almost everyone got a problem with the operator's speed,I have a problem with them using a grader like a d9 with a rock box.putting down that much material should be done with a dozer and a rock box.its not even close to final grade yet.
This guy is every heavy equipment mechanics worst nightmare! Good lord! There is no job that needs to be done in such a hurry that would justify the abuse being done by this operator. If it was my blade, I’d call the office and have his checks in the mail faster than you can say Jack Robinson. A true blade hand is methodical and precise, this is painful to watch! 👎👎👎👁🧠
I use to know a few owners who would beat your butt before firing you for abusing their hard earned equipment like this! I had an uncle who was like I just said! You didn’t abuse his equipment! He beat the crap out of one of his sons for showing off in one of his new trucks. His son was doing burn outs with the truck while drunk. He left him in jail till he saw the judge and when he got him home he whipped his butt for totally destroying the brand new truck. This was in the 1980’s. A completely different day than the sissy world we are now in! You can’t be a real man now
I'm all for making money. I just cant for the life of me see why the guy needed to abuse the grader like that. I guess because in my own business I'm the one who pays the huge cost to fix my equipment. The grader only needs to keep ahead of the trucks and they certainly weren't burying him in material. The guy is clearly an experienced and good operator but he would have gained far more appreciation had he run the machine more efficiently.

A las maquinas hay que tratarlas bien,si a una maquina se la trata como vemos en este video,que no te sorprenda que pronto tengas una grave averia. Seguramente a quien está conduciendo esta maquina no le cuesta dinero de su bolsillo.
Me parece que domina la maquina, pero eso no significa que sea un buen operador, para mi un buen operador es aquel que le da buen cuidado a su equipo, hay veces que por tratar de impresionar, iba muy rápido marcha atrás, se pasaba de largo donde tenía que continuar, ocupaba los frenos de forma excesiva y además le quedaba ondulada la plataforma por andar muy rápido, seguramente estaba apurado y muchas veces se apuran para que les quede tiempo para atender las redes sociales, no es mi estilo de operación este tipo de

No se sabe que clase de trabajo esta haciendo porque ni estaca de carga hay para desparramar así no mas hasta mi hijo chiquito lo hace y en menos tiempo y sin mal tratar la maquina, también la maquina se articula para mejor trabajo y se puede dar vuelta en cada punta en una sola maniobra sin ir y venir marcha atrás.
