Don't mean to sound lectury, but I just finished treatment for skin cancer on my face, neck and chest. It was probably the most physically and mentally painful thing I have ever had to endure. Please take care of yourselves! 💝

I'm pretty sure the sun is much more powerful than it was when I was a teen. (1970's) I didn't lay out back then but could go out in the sun and get tannish. I'm light skinned and have red in my hair. I can't even be out in the son for more than a few minutes since 2001. I developed Discoid Lupus and am now "allergic" to the sun.

Redheaded native Floridian here. Never underestimate the damage the sun does to your skin, long and short term. My ex, A rancher in TX died at 50 from skin cancer. My friend's older brother, A black man, died at 48 from skin cancer that started under his big toenail. Banned skin looks great, but you'll pay l for it.
Granted they didn't use sunscreen when they should've. But I still feel bad for them. Those sunburns are nothing to fool with. People please you only have 1 skin. So protect yourself and use plenty of sunscreen!
