Up the Crick Without a Piddle
A wonderful actor in a classic sitcom.
My Favorite Hans was from Up the Crick Without a Piddle, I loved seeing the character again after such a long time away from the show.
My favourite character in 'Allo 'Allo! "tler!"
I was fortunate to catch the remaining cast back in 2013 when they visited my country.
Oh mein Gott!!! That's just something else, thanks so much for creating this video. Loved Hans to bits and always had the feeling that he enjoyed life in Nouvion. Was so happy to see him reunite with Madame Edith and René for one more episode.
He was by far the best character in the show! The Great Escape tribute episodes were my favorite ones!!
Totally agree 💯
The best I've ever seen in my life, thanks to Mr David Croft and Jeremy Loyd!!!!
Hans is my favourite from Allo Allo 😊
What a brilliant actor! Sam Kelly! Brilliant in Porridge, My Family n Inspector Morse!
I love this guy and the show, I was disappointed when he left but it was great to see him make an appearance later on, which was very hilarious
Klomp,Sam played his part so well.Great actor.
Nice...I loved the guy was so funny
Best comedy series ever nomatter how many times I've seen this i can't stop laughing
Fabulous actor. Loves Hans
i feel a sudden urge to re-watch 'allo 'allo
Love this series!
The best actor in the programme.
I was a child when the original run was, and didn't understand innuendo, but one can certainly say, despite changing societal norms and somefink, this still feels funny! Congrats to everybody involved with the show, not least to Hauptmann Hans Geering character and the actor playing him. RIP!
Great entertainer! Great comic!
Sam Kelly was brilliant as Captain Hans Geering he should have been given a deserved award he was a great character comic actor sadly left us to early God Bless You the great Sam Kelly and thanks for everything R.I.P. THE GREAT SAM KELLY WONDERFUL SHOW HELLO HELLO.
Funniest character on the show. When he said "German swines" I still laugh at this. But his salute does sound like Klop! The pill in the till, the jug with the drug, the candle with the handle on the gateau for the chateau.
Well done!
"The Kiasers Birthday" episode is one of my fav episodes ever 😅 And Meme La blonk is great
Loved Sam Kelly in "On the Up"
My all time favourite character in 'Allo 'Allo!
Sam was good in Porridge but hilarious as Hans. Officer Crabtree is probably the most popular character and he is my second favourite, but none of them made me laugh like Hans!
I lost quite a lot of interest in the show once Sam Kelly left. I also liked Maria and she left at the same time. He appeared once later on, but Bertorelli was an average replacement.
Hans Geering was in fact the best British spy in the second world war.
‘Allo ‘Allo was surely the best sitcom ever 😂😂😂😂
I love these.
Von Strohm was also in The Dirty Dozen from 1967. In the German soldiers rank at the barrier.
I don't think there was anyone who didn't think Hans was saying Klop.
I didn't but I can see how easy it is to mistake it for that.
To me it sounded more like Kluup, or Klaap.
While there was a lot of good stuff after him the back and forth routines he had with the general were hilarious.
Captain Hans Geering was a secret Liverpool supporter, Klopp! 😉
😂😂 every time he shouts Klopp it kills me !!
To this day any time I hear the name Hitler I hear Hans in response.
Never realised he was only in 3 seasons.
I knew it!
I'm stealing that glasses line. 9:48
I just came here for his “ Clopp” aka Hitler✌🏻😂😂😂😂🤩 he and crabtree are lethal duo 😂
It'll always be "Clop!" to me...
It’s fascinating how despite Colonel Von Strohm seemed so buffoonish and cowardly in the show, his awards suggested he’s a decorated seasoned veteran. Wehrmacht long service medal and eastern front award, meaning he’s been deployed to the Russian front prior to his position in France, Iron cross first and second class plus a silver wound badge, proved he’s a brave and capable soldier when he’s in Russia
Not appreciated in my home, though: my mother was SOE, forced into becoming one of the jailbait screen distracting German troops hunting for downed aircrew in the Kempen, the area east of Antwerp. She was 16.
She and her friends were real heroes.
I do wish he stayed around.
After all these years I've just noticed Rene's lazy eye and now I can't un see it
...ANYBODY REMEMBER THE EPISODE WHERE RENE AND EDITH VISITED BRITAIN, AND THEY LEARNED THAT HANS GEERING SWITCHED SIDES, AND HE HAS A BRIT GIRLFRIEND?!
"Tler"? It always sounds like "klop" to me.
He was the best character in the series but left the show unfortunately very soon!
I seem to remember that when the show first aired that there was a bit of hoo ha about how the show was disrespectful of a very traumatic time and experience…… I loved it though I missed so many episodes the first time around, I didn’t have a video recorder and repeats took years to come back on. I have made up for that since…! I could keep up with the plot now, which doesn’t matter too much as every episode was a different adventure or rather misadventure…! 😂😂😂
The show is loved although out Europe, the only exception being Germany. The Germans who looked at the pilot found it to be to funny for german tv.
And Kelly played Manny’s dad, Moo-Pa in Black Books 😂
6:15 oh, that’s what he was saying, I thought he was saying “CLOP”
Kelly reminds me of Pete Waterman
The only disappointment is that there were not more episodes 😢
A parody very much More famous than the original. Think most have never seen that
TLER!
I cant remember , what happened to the cuckoo clock ?
"KLOP!"
.....TLER!
In Season 9 the ending, what is the name by many years later?
I always thought he was saying "Club" for some reason.
I always thought he said "Clop!" mimicking the sound of the boots when the salute.
Do a video on Billy Bunter
You gonna start doing tv and movie reviews again
I stopped making scripted comedic reviews two years ago. However I am still making unscripted movie riffs with my friends, also my Character Chronicles series still count as reviews of TV shows and films.
"Klob"
Jimmy Perry and David Croft's first series was Dad's Army NOT 'Are you being served'
I said Jeremy Lloyd NOT Jimmy Perry
Did he ghost at 1:45? It looks like he lost it for a moment lol
Was this ever shown in France or Germany?😁
Yes 'Allo 'Allo was one of the UK's most internationally successful sitcoms. The French liked it but Germany refused to broadcast it until several years ago.
Germany had problem with the symbols and salutes. Laws against it.
@@alastair9446 ....THAT'S LOGICAL- BUT I WAS WONDERING IF IT WAS BECAUSE THE GERMANS HAVE NO SENSE OF HUMOR-(?)
@@daleburrell6273 German humour is no laughing matter!
🙏😄🇸🇪🎬📽️📺📼👍
It do souds like he says klab
He was just saying "Klop!" not "tler". Nice story but is definitely has a K sound, not T
12:51
You should have specified that this was the communist resistance.
clop................................
😂😂😂
For the old days...
For anyone wondering about the 'tler"/klop/club* debate, can i suggest you watch Barberrella with jane fonda.
As i remember when she talks to her boss thro a moniter, she salutes him.
He responds by raising his hand in a half salute and replies "club".
I was on a lot of medication at the time and just remember thinking "blimus, thats allo allo."
This isnt a joke. I 100% believe this it where it comes from.
