OR3O YOU WERE MY FAVORITE ONE
OR3O's verse as Monika grew on me over time, it sings more like a poem than a rap verse which is probably why some people thought it sounded weird, but it fits Monika's character pretty well. Though I am a little confused why Monika would be classified as a yandere over Yuri.
Monika drives Sayori to suicide, amplifies Yuri's personality until it results in her killing herself, and straight up erases Natsuki from existence. Yuri only really displays those traits after Monika messes with her personality in an attempt to make her unappealing to the player.
Yuri acts more like the other yandere ladies here while Monika has a more down to Earth to personality, even after she gets the player to herself, she acts somewhat pretty sane/normal-ish.
Yuri stabs herself, not others. She is still crazy for love but not enough to get rid of her competition

Meh. Monika was more of a Yandere than Yuri. She was the one who drove her friend Sayuri to suicide, deleted Natsuki from existence, and messed with Yuri's personality until her obsession drove her to self-harm and eventual suicide. She did this all because of her "love" for the player.

Probably because it didn't have as much production as other verses, but I think that honestly works out well for that verse specifically

This is so perfect 🔥🔥🔥! I still love how unchained your verse gets Hala! Sailor's "burn this house down" part just scratches my brain in the best way possible. And Freeced's word play in that verse is so impressive. The ever evolving beat, the vocals, and this video. Pouring so many hours in the mix / master on this and seeing it in it's final form is so perfect!!!

Hala just decided cyphers can have hooks now, you just need to throw some of the best vocalists in nerdcore at it and honestly I can't disagree. This might be the best HalaCG cypher, which is an extremely high bar. Every verse was awesome, still trying to figure out whether Hala or Chi-Chi won for me.
Also, random thought. LGBTQ+ cypher. Not necessarily that the content of the cypher is anything related, just a cypher containing exclusively LGBTQ+ artists.

Nah, I don’t think it started with Hala, there’s been other Cyphers with hooks (None Like Joshua’s Ten Commandments and Zoldyck Family Cyphers come to mind). It’s not COMMON, but I do see it from time to time.
@@RidleyKraid187 True, Aaron Fraser-Nash's cyphers pretty much all have hooks, this is the first time I've heard it work as well as this though in my opinion. I guess my original comment implies I thought this was the first time though, sorry.

I hate how everyone says the woman doing Monika's voice was a bland and dry singer. Monika is a calm yet menacing Yandere and her voice fit perfectly for that.

Ah, you've done it again Hala! Everyone was good, but then I just hear your squeaky, panicked, eager voice and I just think "ah, of course Hala is Yuno! She's perfect for it!". You're perfect for Yuno! Like, you're great in general at whatever character you perform as or are inspired by, but you really have Yuno specifically down.
god i keep listening to this and am blown away by everyone, but i gotta put special respect on you, hala. The intense rhythm, the performance, the way the rhyme and meter switches up on the "doctor's a bit--cagey" line, it's so frenetic and perfect. Awesome job, top to bottom, writing and delivery, i just can't get enough

As far as my knowledge of notable yandere characters go, I was expecting most of these, and yet Toko/the Genocider really took me by surprise

What the heck? I don't know how this ended in my recommended, but I friggin' love it. The concept is so fun and the lineup is insane. It's perfectly fitting OR3O was Monika. Ironmouse with screaming in the background was actually terrifying. It's a cross up between HalaCG & Freeced sharing my favorite cadence. There's just so much to love about this.
