Brilliant- no wonder they make so many sci-fi films there, could be another planet! Also, I’d be getting out my travel rod for a spot of fishing and fresh trout for breakfast.👍
All that and water-crossing instruction too? Very much reminds me of you photographing me falling off in the River Wye! Looks like a great time had by all. Thanks for the regular videos. Les
What an amazing place Iceland is. With the right weather an ADV biking paradise. Interested to get thoughts on whether you think bash plates and engine guards are a hindrance during water crossings? I can imagine them exerting a braking force as soon as they plough into the water. Cheers Nathan
Question? have git a scram, total off road noob, standard tyres or recommendations for UK tracks (mainly gravel, wet mud and the odd shallow river crossing) advice greatly accepted. 42 years road riding and the odd track onto campsites. cheers! (soft wall preferred so I can fix a puncture) Thanks Don
@@stevec-b6214agreed. People use tyre choice to distract from a lack of talent. Work on your technique and tyres will become less crucial. Moto junkies or sweetlamb or come down and see me for some practice
"challenged but not broken"........ wise words for a tour operator.

Thanks for taking the time to show us your trip
That was brilliant! Well done to you all!!
Very good some very nervous but they still coped because of you, great efforts
Great to see your progress, glad the weather is holding out for you, you're right it makes all the difference.
What an astonishing place. Ride safe guys.
Nice to see the chap in his Richa Rain Warrior suit - I love mine, they're cheap and properly waterproof - if a bit sweaty when it's warm 😅
The group shows allot of confidence following their fearless leader...safe ride.
Not always fearless. Make like a swan
In the olden days you would be sailing with Magellan.
I wouldn't fancy that water crossing. Brrr!!!! Nick
its only brrr if you fall in ;)

Excellent work, team!
Thanks chief!
Great stuff. I think you made the right decision turning back... nothing worse than losing a bike/rider 😉
Yeah I think theyd be half way to Greenland by now
@@nathanthepostman 🤣🤣🤣. Great footage. The scenery is amazing 👏🏼

number 1 is practise! Get some tuition. Dont get tied up in tyres/theory, just do it (gently at first;)

I must be getting old Nathan, I want to be cozy and comfy and not "challenged", been there, done that.👌🙊🍻
Ha. Cheers Dave. Maybe Iceland not the place to head! Head south where it's warmer

For sure mate, it does look amazing fun mind you.
👍🏍️
Great fun, everybody upright, but why are some so reluctant to stand up on the pegs?
Confidence I suspect
Another great plan thwarted by climate change 🙄😅
Ha. I think they had a heavier snowfall than usual and so the thawing out process is just taking a bit longer this yert
