Yet another amazing diorama by the WIW legend himself! For those excited to jump into the world, we’ll have a quickstart guide with some basic rules, a sample one-shot expedition, and four premade character sheets ready for download (free) on the day of the Kickstarter’s launch! 🤠
I really like the loop layout, especially in 3D! Would force the players to think differently than in a more open area. Also rife with opportunity to split the party with a tunnel collapse or broken lift.
So excited for this game. A previous video for WIW somebody mentioned that if you wrote a book like a monster manual or short stories or something like that they would pay for it and I absolutely agree with them
I would love a monster manual! Especially if it was a mix of photos of Boylei’s creations and art from other artists of creatures Boylei hasn’t made yet!
I had a similar idea for a book years ago, and I found this channel, and he basically had the same idea I had. As a want-to-be author, I am sad I can't write my book now (I don't want to be seen as a copycat), but I am beyond thrilled that someone out there is creating something special in the same ways!!
The gunslinger just helped me realize how big some of the monsters you made in the past would be in real life and they just got way more terrifying lol
Would love to see a model set in this world involving a horned lizard (little spiky guy that spits blood from its eyes) Also it’s so awesome seeing how much these models have grown in just a few years
Congrats on the Kickstarter! I logged on as soon as I got the email notification and it was already double the goal amount! Amazing work that truly deserves such recognition and support
If we're doing nostalgia trips, what was y'all's first Boylei video that you've ever watched? Mine was that giant alligator under a Mississipi steamboat back in 2021 (I was looking for tips how to pour resin for a diorama and it was one of the recommended videos, and I enjoyed the WIW stuff so much that I simply stayed).
72nd nature LOL, these "blink and you miss them" one liners really make this channel the best. Can't wait for the kickstarter launch! Fingers crossed I am in that first 200!!!
Gorgeous diorama as usual! Also I'm so insanely excited for the kickstarter launch! It will be my first time supporting a ttrpg, but I just need it so badly!
I'm so excited for you Boylei. This is such a great expansion of your setting into an interactive experience. Your players are very lucky people. I think most of us who love your videos would be so thrilled to experience your game with you. Please consider doing audio recordings of the game you run. I love listing to live play RPG session podcasts while at work.
This is so frigging groovy. As a "forever DM" I would love to run some campaigns in the WIW, I'm going to try to get the box set just on the off chance I can run in person games again. 🤙
What an amazing result, as always!!! Will you make a video on what happened during that game night, showing what the puzzle and monster were, as well as how your players dealt with these? :D Keep up the amazing work, Boylei!!!
I’ve really gotten into watching two things on RUclips over the past year: Boylei Hobby Time and TTRPG content. The fact that both of them have now by chance come together is still unreal to me.
If you haven't chosen a monster or monsters yet, I think a larger monster along with its spawn in search for an abandoned mine to call home could be an interesting idea. It means the posse are deep in the mines when the entrance is flooded with several small critters, and in search for an escape, one of the exits would be blocked by a large menacing mother.
I normally don't get into games like this but I have to admit I'm intrigued I would love to see the game in action actually being played maybe that's a future video!?!?🤔🤷
SEPTEMBER 10…two days away 🎉🎶🔥❤️ What an incredibly cool “mine build” to usher in your WIW rpg! Cannot wait to buy and play this epic game. Hoping your Kickstarter is wildly successful Boylei!
"Unknown" monster attack . Myself, having seen the whole WIW series, as soon as I saw the title of this video - "Giant spider combat session inbound in 3, 2..."
Looks great as always, Boylei! Best of luck on your project to bring the Wild Imaginary West to our workbenches and gaming tables! My Like is in the 1.2Ks
Good luck with the Kickstarter campaign and game. Myself never got into gaming, I watch because I built dioramas and always like learning new techniques and see if any thing new comes along that I never saw and might try. Again great build and great video.
Another Utahn! I am so pumped man I showed my buddy your video's and we planned a trip to Moab just to get pumped for the setting! Cant wait for a public playtest.
Been watchin you for a couple years roughly, love your work, and when you announced the KS for the RPG, I had to back it.... fully funded in like 20mins, 100K in hours.... CANNOT wait to play it....
Almost 72nd nature lol ETA: This stuff this entire world the whole Wild Imaginary West is amazing I'm glad you've found a way to capitalize off it. After all the work you've put in you deserve to kickstart something
9:07 Anyone notice the second mini? I thought it was the Gunslinger changing places but it's actually two! One's got blue pants and the other has brown.
man love your work really really cool stuff i’ve been watching your stuff your a while now and with your style of art i think if you make desert survival war cars from hotwheel cars you get make an garage abandon one and it will fit nicely with the wild imaginary west theme
Big fan of mine models and dioramas in general; excellent addition to the WIW! I esp love the way you adjusted the track ties. One question tho... where's the mine cart!? Must have a mine cart. Keep up the world building, great stuff as always!
I also first started doing dioramas because I like building terrain. Also, funny enough the first large diorama I made was a no scale playable landscape on a 4x2' N scale train track that a friend gave me. I wish I had photos to share with you but I don't.
Congratulations on the Kickstarter success. Can't wait to get my digital copy and play with my partner. They're not from America so your Wild Imaginary West is gonna be an extra exciting setting for both of us, but they'll especially like that it'll feel so different from the usual European fantasy that essentially just references where they grew up.
They always come out so awesome. You always make it look so easy and fast, with such amazing work. I was wondering though most of your videos are about ten minutes or so, but could you put the estimated time that it actually takes you to build your projects, I would really find that interesting compared to the time lapse of your finished video. I am always curious about how much time it really takes you to do your builds, and I am betting many others might find it interesting. 🤔🤔🤔 But either way I still look forward to Sundays just to see what you created for us this week. 🙂👍👍👍

Will it be like Weird Frontiers/DCC ruleset, or more close to 5e kind of gaming?
I'm excited to see it all come together!
@@Necromi it’s a dice pool system designed to match the uniqueness of the world. More to come on Tuesday 😁
The legends themselves. Will definitely be checking those out!
I love how the gunslinger moves around the set at the end but always manages to find a piece of fence to lean noneshelontly on.
i like your spelling
I've never seen nonchalant spelled like that XD
I really like the loop layout, especially in 3D! Would force the players to think differently than in a more open area. Also rife with opportunity to split the party with a tunnel collapse or broken lift.
So excited for this game. A previous video for WIW somebody mentioned that if you wrote a book like a monster manual or short stories or something like that they would pay for it and I absolutely agree with them
absolutely agree a book would be insane
I would love a monster manual! Especially if it was a mix of photos of Boylei’s creations and art from other artists of creatures Boylei hasn’t made yet!
As an aspiring author I would love to write a book about it.
I had a similar idea for a book years ago, and I found this channel, and he basically had the same idea I had. As a want-to-be author, I am sad I can't write my book now (I don't want to be seen as a copycat), but I am beyond thrilled that someone out there is creating something special in the same ways!!
@godsbadkarma yeah I would it would be sick to write for different worlds like this
The gunslinger just helped me realize how big some of the monsters you made in the past would be in real life and they just got way more terrifying lol
Would love to see a model set in this world involving a horned lizard (little spiky guy that spits blood from its eyes)
Also it’s so awesome seeing how much these models have grown in just a few years
Maybe work some LED noodle magic and have the not-so-little spiky guy shoot lasers from its eyes?
I think he has one similar to that, titled something like "These hunters are DONE" with a giant lizard
His imagination is literally out of this world!
As is his ability to bring it to physical form!
his wild imaginary western world!!!
Congrats on the Kickstarter! I logged on as soon as I got the email notification and it was already double the goal amount! Amazing work that truly deserves such recognition and support

Yes that's the same for me it popped up in my fyp
Mine was the Alligator Snapping Turtle resin diorama! I showed it to my friend and ever since then we were hooked!
I think it was the one of two armies fighting over dinosaur bones. It just popped up in my RUclips recs for some reason, and I was instantly hooked.
Mine was the giant swamp wendigo, and I was hooked forever
Irc it was the town with the train surrounding it
72nd nature LOL, these "blink and you miss them" one liners really make this channel the best. Can't wait for the kickstarter launch! Fingers crossed I am in that first 200!!!
Gorgeous diorama as usual!

I like that wherever he goes, the gunslinger brings his leanin' post with him.
At 6:34 I thought he said, “I then jumped over to the scenery to start appreciating.” In the moment I really related to that. Good job on this btw
We're seeing more and more of Boylei, hopefully some day we can put a face to these extraordinary builds! Incredible as always. 💯
I'm so excited for you Boylei. This is such a great expansion of your setting into an interactive experience.

Keep up the amazing work, Boylei!!!
Well this was particularly awesome. I'd like to see this diorama, or a similar one, being used for actual gameplay!
...WOW... just, wow!
I'm really looking forward to the kickstarter.
Can’t wait for the game 🤗
I’m so pumped for the kickstarter!
I’ve really gotten into watching two things on RUclips over the past year: Boylei Hobby Time and TTRPG content. The fact that both of them have now by chance come together is still unreal to me.
Hey Boylei, PLEASE PLEASE STREAM OR RECORD THE ONE-SHOT, I would LOVE to see it 😁
second this!
and third this!
Fantastic, thanks. The Gunslinger looks like a character from the Wild Wild West tv show opening credits.
love it i dont have much of an eye for detail i can't wait to see if i can back the kickstarter because this looks awesome
If i could play a game on a map like this I think I would die of happiness! This is the coolest combat set ever!
If you haven't chosen a monster or monsters yet, I think a larger monster along with its spawn in search for an abandoned mine to call home could be an interesting idea. Nice composition with the opening title shot of Wild imaginary West ! The little studio light looks like a halo haha
Can't wait to see the Kickstarter go live!
I normally don't get into games like this but I have to admit I'm intrigued I would love to see the game in action actually being played maybe that's a future video!?!?🤔🤷

What an incredibly cool “mine build” to usher in your WIW rpg! Cannot wait to buy and play this epic game.
Hoping your Kickstarter is wildly successful Boylei!
I really like this piece and I think it's because you made it so functional. I'd love to see you create more terrain pieces designed for playability.
so cool! can't wait for the Kickstarter!
0:01 That’s a makers dream setup 🥹
The lights, the organization.. most things above the desk so there's plenty of room, it's great!!
That game board is super cool! Great job on building it.
This one is one of my favorites. The more random the better. This looks like so much fun
It's not Sunday...it's Boylei Hobby Time! always waiting for the next adventure! 🤠👍
Amazing Terrain and can't wait for the kickstarter.
Can't wait for the game, finally a reason to get back into table top game!
Congrats again on making your own RPG! I love your content and style with these dioramas, keep up the awesome work.
Stoked for launch!
I don’t think I’ve ever been this hyped for a TTRPG I can’t wait
No, we have to thank you for giving us something awesome to watch. Good luck, and I hope this endeavour becomes a resounding success. 👍
I've got an alarm set for the Kickstarter. I'm so excited!!!
"Unknown" monster attack .
Myself, having seen the whole WIW series, as soon as I saw the title of this video - "Giant spider combat session inbound in 3, 2..."
I am going to shill this Kickstarter to all my friends once it drops. Good luck, Boylei!

I hope the future holds many great things for you sir, this universe is so interesting. I’d love to read novels set within it someday.
I cant wait till this comes out. Something new to play on gamenight!
My first was the Alegator snapping turtle and the river boat ! And I was hooked !
an awe-inspiring diorama
It's impressive how much this channel has blown up over the years. Best of luck to you, my dude.
RDR style RPG based on your world and it'll be the only video game I play for the rest of my life. You're crushing it man! Keep up the amazing work.
Congrats on your imminent game launch!
Congatulations on the exciting and much deserved success.
Congratulations, again. I hope this is just but a start for you. Know, if we could just push you over the 1 million subscribers, that would be great.
Almost 72nd nature lol

I have enjoyed your work and i have used many of your suggestions in my own work. I wish you the best of luck in your game...
Very enjoyable build, one of your more involved ones to date. Thanks for sharing your hard work!
Awesome build!
Its so exciting to see how the Wild Imaginary West has evolved over the years.
Cleaning your workspace is always just as satisfying as building your dioramas or miniatures IMO haha
man love your work really really cool stuff i’ve been watching your stuff your a while now and with your style of art i think if you make desert survival war cars from hotwheel cars you get make an garage abandon one and it will fit nicely with the wild imaginary west theme

Beautiful diorama.
WOW WOW WOW ................... my sunday just got better. that is a MASTERPIECE
Awesome as always. Love how well the gunslinger looks.
Congratulations on the kickstarter! Can't wait to play :-)
Backed! Can't wait to play this game!!!
Wish you much success!! 😎😎😎😎😎👍🏻
Would absolutely love to have you post a video playing the game on this board.
It looks like you pulled a scene right out of the new Hunt Showdown 1869 game. That's going to be a very fun game
Uf I’ll support the hell out of this game
I also first started doing dioramas because I like building terrain. Also, funny enough the first large diorama I made was a no scale playable landscape on a 4x2' N scale train track that a friend gave me. I wish I had photos to share with you but I don't.
WIW Kickstarter funded in 20 minutes! And over 100,000 the first day! Yay!
this guy is gonna have the coolest combat terrains if/when he dms a campaign
I started playing rdr2 recently and oh my gosh I am glad your doing Wild West
Boylei please make a giant spider crab diorama.
And you should do a stream of where you and your friends play the first game
You are amazing, haven’t seen anything better in my life
Congratulations on the Kickstarter success. Can't wait to get my digital copy and play with my partner. Always a good watch- thanks!
This game's directly wandering on my christmas wish list 😁 hope it's out until then
Beautiful piece of work ✨✨
They always come out so awesome.

I'd love to see a crossover between you and Razorfist's Ghost of the Badlands !
Just wanted to say Congratulations on Your game.
I’ve enjoyed all of Your videos.
Thank You for the entertainment
Okay why do I think WIW would be an amazing RP video game
Once this game drops i think you can say goodbye to the daytime job.
Wow, that's such a cool diorama/ game board. Will we see an example of game play in the future? 👍
