In Ireland and the UK we have a habit and history of considering lbs break strain first, and then opting for the smallest diameter with that. Even when buying new fluorocarbon and braid, I'll always do a few physical break strain tests to determine their failure ceiling.
As a weekend angler that takes it a little too seriously sometimes... My best explanation to someone wanting to try Tatsu is.. tatsu is supple and just as strong on the 3-6th tournament as the first. Invisex would last 1-2. So when you put pen to paper you get more for your money with tatsu day in and day out. Still tuff for some to get over sticker shock.

Bass Pro xps is the exact same product as Seaguar, it is delivered in a Seaguar box to Bass Pro. Open the box the line and the plastic spool, even the tape on the line is the same, and half the price.
To me InvizX is more abrasion resistant than AbrazX. I tried both for quite a while. And still love InvizX. I use it an Sunline Sniper. I tried red label and hated it. Probably because I was so used to the invizX. Sunlines cheaper offering isn't so bad. I use that for crankbaits.
@@KenSmithFishing The AbraxX is more sensitive. I will give it that. It also seemed to have a lot less stretch than the InvizX. I never had a problem with it. The only bad experiences I have ever had with any fluoro was Berkley vanish and Vicious. I have tried a lot of them too. It is all about knots and properly picking back lashes. Anyway, for reaction baits like spinnerbaits, jerk baits, or chatter baits you can't beat InvizX. What absolutely sold me on it what when I landed a 7.5 pounder on 20# that had me 90 degrees around the wooden corner post of the boat chute on a duck blind. I pulled that fish 15' from the very head of the chute all the way out around the post as the wing blew the boat past the blind. I have a witness and a picture too, LOL. This was in 2001 or so. I bought a spool after seeing a demo at Toledo Tackle a week prior when they were first pushing it. So at least 20 years with it and no complaints.
So does anyone know the downside of Basix vs Red label? Or the downside of Red Label vs Invizx? All this guy talked about was the price difference between them, what is actually different???
Good content Ken! Can't wait for the part 2 on further insight! Are you going to also cover fluorocarbon leader as well? Never understood the difference between it and just using my Invizx as my braid to fluorocarbon leader.
i'm beginning to believe that braid, at least for bass fishing, is completely unnecessary. i think that 25lb fluorocarbon is strong enough to pull any size bass out of any cover.
I guess the fluorocarbons used in different price level lines all use a different percentage blending of raw products. Am I right, and will you discuss this in future videos?

Love these manufacturer based education videos. I use a lot of Red Label, but never really understood the difference in their other lines.

That’s good information. I have always used Invizx exclusively. Didn’t know that abrazx has less memory. I’ll have to try it out.

you know I've had several guys say the same to me. I've just gotten so comfortable with Invizx it's hard for me to change or even try much else

switched from seaguar to sunline. to me sunline sniper performs better than invisx. going to try abrazix and tatsu one day.
