Probably my favorite youtuber success story I've ever seen and I'm always just so happy seeing that you've become on e of the best in the world at your craftsmanship! It is really cool seeing all these features designed for maybe the top 10% of riders, but it gives the impression that bike parks are for that same top 10% of riders. I don't have the time and energy to get good enough to be in that rarified group. It is fun watching these features get built and ridden, but I'd also like to see features designed for mere mortals like myself. Features that aren't going to send me to a hospital when (not if) I mess them up.

    • @hamiltonhickman2248
      @hamiltonhickman2248 Год назад +7

      It’s just that the features for mortals don’t make for as good of a video, there’s no shortage of them though. Bike parks and especially howler have tons of easier, progressive trails as well.

    • @zimmejoc
      @zimmejoc Год назад +2

      @@hamiltonhickman2248 that’s true. Scary features look good in thumbnails, and are part of my click to watch decision. I’m glad to know parks have trails for folks my speed. My nearest park is hours away and I’m nervous about driving that long to find most of the trails way beyond me.

      @@cutlaps I have. I love his old vids. I loved this one too, but many of the features of his backyard builds I can see myself riding. This thing I don't ever want to tangle with. I don’t understand why bike parks would build something that involve so much liability, dont get me wrong, it is cool to see all the shredders jumping those ramps, however the percentage of people riding those features does not worth the investment vs risk on a bike park.
    Very professional trail builder for sure!!! 🔥🔥👍👍

    • @mrt5342
      @mrt5342 Год назад

      The only reason there is liability in these instances is because of riders who don't understand riding within their ability. Not knowing how or when to use discretion, and then blaming someone else when they get hurt, after making a decision that they shouldn't have, suing the landowner or builder, or anyone else, so long as they don't accept any responsibility for THEIR OWN actions.
      The sport has to have progression. Bike parks can't all be just Greens and Blues. Ride within your means, and ride what you can. Pretty easy concept.

    • @danielpatino81
      @danielpatino81 Год назад +1

      @@mrt5342 the liability that you mentioned is more than enough reason to not to offer the opportunity to dumb people to get hurt, unfortunately no matter where you go there is always a dumb person and thats something that is out of any bike parks control.
      The bike park can control the size of the features but no the stupidity of some individuals. 👍
