Was going to say before even the first minute of the video that a Backyard Trail Builds and BCpov crossover would be all I need, only minutes later to find out its exactly what I got, albeit a shorter version
@@BackyardTrailBuilds that's sick. I just commented you should own a business. In the Northeast US with global warming, winters are shorter and summers longer. Many towns and ski resorts are budgeting money for the next 20 years to be used on MTB infrastructure. Literally every single ski resort is either implementing it, or looking to sell to someone who can. Killington recently spent $53 mil on mountain bike trails over the last 3 years, so great time to get in the business.
This was already the best channel ever and that was just in the backyard but I am absolutely loving the opportunity you were given with this project! They chose the best man for the job, you're so freakin epic dude, that things an absolute sexy beast just like you 🤘fk yes Seth, fk yesssssss
You're not just an amazing builder with a keen eye for detail but your story telling and production of these videos are second to none. Great job Seth!
We miss you man, always used to look forward to watching your new videos. No one does it quite like you, I love the hand tool style, and your editing techniques. Life gets in the way sometimes I get that, just keep pushing. Hope we will see some more regular content from you soon this year, coming from a fellow Missouri MTBer!
When I worked landscaping, we would throw a layer of sand between each layer of rock to fit them together. The boss, who has been doing this for 30+ years, was a magician with the excavator, picking and fitting rocks together so they were all lined up and level.

This place looks incrediable. Coming from Kansas city I tend to ride NWA as many times as my wife will allow me to drive down there. This place is the same distance and looks to be just as worth the trip.
Truly amazing. I remember watching you when you had like 100 subs or something like that. Supper amazing to see how much you have improved. Grate job man. Keep it up.
Your videos are always fantastic, but this build series at Howler has been amazing. The features are huge and really well-built. The fact you film the whole process alongside building is impressive too. Look forward to seeing more builds in the future as you hopefully continue being employed to work on trails!
Awesome build! And great video as always. If I may, as structural engineer: Those spacers between the braces hardly have any use. The planks are too thin to act as a compression strut (they will buckle), and the others will act as a tension strut just fine. The spacers half the buckle length, but ideally you don't want to rely on compression struts at all (you can, but you would avoid thin planks). If you have to braces on top of each other, it's advised to use horizontal elements between them to transfer tension between them. Your posts in this case are massive enough to do the job just fine, but once you go thinner..
I am an electrical engineering student, so not my area, but I have a question: Are you at all worried about public safety in this case without a professional engineer involved in the design? If it was just for personal use, I wouldn't care, but this whole DIY approach doesn't sit well with me in this situation.
Seth, you have surpassed yourself on this one - dang, that’s awesome! I’m betting that no one is looking forward to sending that more than you..? Be well and stay safe.
Holy crap dude that is one sick feature! That is a hell of a lot of work. You are an absolute machine. Love it. Cant wait to see you guys ride this thing on the future.
Bro that Shark-fin is f#ing insane!! The Shear size of that feature in it self is mind-blowing!! Great video bro and the timelapse looks insane!! And waiting till next time for you guys to ride the feature and build more insane features!!
I know you used to use your own music in your videos and I think that was really cool+ the music was really original and good. I'd love to see you continuing your music career/progress through keeping it in the videos it's something I've always really appreciated about your videos
Such a sick feature! Amazing work Seth and howler crew! Can’t wait to try it out some day 🙂
Were you there in the video

This is absolutely insane. Do you build these features professionally or is it just a hobby? This is the most impressive one I've seen on youtube.
I actually just started an LLC this year specifically for the building side of things. I've worked for companies before but Im a full business now!
@@BackyardTrailBuilds are you hiring employees? I live in Missouri and I’d love to work as a trail builder. I have construction/ carpentry experience

Those 20 ft logs must of been crazy hard to stand up, I made a bridge w 16 ft logs and that was a real pain

Hi
Haven’t watched your channel for a long time… and I come back to this! Holy god man, impressive is an understatement.
Bcpov and van girl yukA were just checking it out
I remember when you could just ride a bike through the woods on a trail, didn't have to build anything, the land and nature was enough to bring joy
Jeez thats awesome! Thanks for inspiring me and my buddy to make our own MTB channel 🤘😆🤘
How are you so talented with drawing, construction, and video production?!
When I worked landscaping, we would throw a layer of sand between each layer of rock to fit them together. The boss, who has been doing this for 30+ years, was a magician with the excavator, picking and fitting rocks together so they were all lined up and level.
The quality of your videos simply goes unmatched
Thanks, Ethan! That really means a lot, man.
That’s not trail building anymore, that’s Art!
Is it just me that thought the drawing is amazing
