I wish more brands would go with a perificle rotor. As I said about the Patek 5170, if anyone doubts that V.C. has more than earned it's place in the "holy trinity". Yes, there are Independents of the same quality, but the weight of tradition and history give it something extra, something special.
You need to be truly rich to really enjoy this watch, i.e. wear it without a care in the world, that you're either going to bang it, lose it or have it stolen. Otherwise its just a cause of stress.
@@rousseau327 I’m not sure about that - I know that the Gen 3 chrono is larger than the Gen 2 chrono, which was a much better dial design but itself too big as compared to the models against which it was competing - I just think the watch would be more accessible and in demand at 40mm in all versions
@@jonathanphilipmir I was talking about the line in genearl. I do agree it would look much better at 40mm, but I was more addressing the comment that said this new generation is larger, when that's hardly the case when viewed holistically.
Wish the Gen3 Overseas automatic used a peripheral winding mass like this. Looks amazing being able to see the full movement. Tourbillon was ok too 🙄😬😉
A 3rd Gen Overseas with none of the drawbacks of that generation, a beautiful looking movement with a gorgeous peripheral rotor too! The 1st of this generation I would seriously consider purchasing, if I had the funds…I don’t. Overall though, I still think the 2nd Gen, as a collection is nicer.
Overseas over any Aquanaut, Nautilus or Royal Oak for me. Resale value be damned. I'd keep one for life.
100%
Tissot PRX for me
@@bryangarson3927 LOL. The powermatic 80 is a great movement for the price, but this VC is in another league.
@@cookedit Tissot is shit man and VC is a lot better you plank
@@bryangarson3927 its good for the price, i own one but come on.. compared to a luxury watch its a seiko
Doesn't get any better than this timepiece.
Grail watch! Stunning and beautiful
I just got this watch and a review was posted :) Great review Tim. It bogglesd my mind that this watch costs as much as a preowned 5711!
Hot another level vs the boring 5711

Holy trinity LOL. They all copied Vacheron .
I could watch this all day Tim
Pre-owned, $110,000 US….. just, just out of my price range. That said, what an absolute gorgeous piece.
Chep if you can get one - do it - these will rocket in the current market.
I can technically afford this watch but mentally I could never….no matter how much I love it. It’s truly incredible.
If they lowered the price by $75,000, I would buy it even though at that price it’s still out of my range

I was wondering why it sacrificed the seconds hand until I realized it's built into the tourbillon.
Such a beautiful watch! Love the rotor going around the edge of the movement
Why the two screws on the left hand side of the case?
Beautiful watch but I'd want that blue screw aligned so the slot points out radially.
you might wanna study basic mechanics again.
screws are impossible to align.
Cheaper then a platinum Daytona and 10x the watch!
I agree and i have a platinum Daytona
lol was cheaper - wow these have gone nuts!
Wooow, gorgeous watch.
My grail watch.
Can’t figure out why they made Gen 3 so large. Hard to succeed unless they drop it to 40mm
The previous generation of this watch was as big or bigger though

Wrote the first comment before you flipped the watch! Love V.C. even more!!!
A Bad Ass Tourbillion!! Love V.C.
A watch to end all hunts.
Magnificent time piece

What are the draw backs?
This is in gold is the grail
My goodness, that is beautiful.
Super grail watch.
Now this is beautiful
Great video!
oh boy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
love that satin bracelet Wow!!
Is it just me or did they completely skip the interior angles on the movement?
VC Perfection!
Really nice 👌
Look at this thing....
16.5 cm wrist plus, though, I think.
You've got a pair on you if you take this thing swimming.
She's a beaut.
I would never swim with this watch on my wrist, beautiful piece
Harga brapa dolar
White cream colour best....
But Mike said he was glad to have it in his collection..... ;)
Top-O-the Mast!
DO NOT SWIM WITH THISSSSSS OMGAWDDD I JUST DIED. 50m of water resistance in a $100k watch, no.
This ovet Royal Oak, any day. The tourbillon is an overkill though.
Dude, did you just take one long, deep breath, then spewed out all that info?
Five Star watch
Wow!
My grail … but I prolly couldn’t afford it this life 😂
Still, you can get this piece before you can get a Royal Oak Tourbillon or Nautilus Tourbillon and still have class over these two. 😂
@@Bestow3000yes that movement is to die for 🤩
What a watch.. wow
Grail watch
i dont understand why this watch isnt popular as patek nautilus
It is too big… 50mm lug to lug is insane.
