- Michael Franzese came through for yet another VladTV interview, and this time around, he spoke about former Chicago mob figure Frank Cullotta passing away from COVID-19. Michael also shared his thoughts on other people, including "The Godfather" actor Gianni Russo, whose mob stories don't ring true to Michael. He also shared more stories about his time in the mob, including former Colombo family boss Carmine Persico putting a hit out on him when he left, and Michael also addressed claims that he's an informant. Franzese is extremely interesting to listen to solely based on how articulate and calculated his answers are. You can tell that before he answers Vlad”s questions, he think before he speaks. 10 out of 10 in quality
He probably has to make sure certain details are not yet publicized. My mom dated Anthony Mirra in the late 1970s and I knew people who knew people very secondhand but most of the stories are consistent with what I saw and heard in NYC at the time.
I agree with you. He's smart and understands who he is, where he has been and where he is now but also it's like the question interviewers ask: did you kill anyone? He doesn't have immunity like other mobsters who talk about killing so he has been trained well and does not say anything. He's a smooth operator.

I've seen most of Micheal's interviews with this guy,I will say Micheal is very consistient in what he says about his time in his former life, I just feel that the way the interviewer asks the questions its like he's trying to trip him up, the same questions over and over. I enjoy listening to Micheal, Mafia stories are endlessly fascinating. I find with Micheal though there's nothing behind his eyes which makes me feel he hasn't left that life behind fully, saying that good for him he's made it work.
