BUGS BUNNY & TAZ: TIME BUSTERS, PS1: i don't have a nose review

- As it turns out, that’s not quite all, folks. It seems our time-travelling eponymous grey hare is back for one more round of ‘time busting’ (whatever the hell that entails), only this time he’s accompanied by the inexplicably popular Tasmanian Devil because… Er, because… Well, who knows, really? Anyway, as it turns out, the game is expectedly decent. Those who’ve played Bugs Bunny Lost in Time beforehand will no doubt feel at home with the gameplay, and while much of this game conveys more of the same Looney-ness, the added bonus of a co-op mode might further enhance what is already a solidly entertaining experience. So, are two heads better than one?
Well, in a sense. Taz does indeed need to be used in order to progress, but Bugs tends to have the upper hand a lot of the time in terms of general ability - if only marginally. Since the co-op demands the characters stay together for the duration, it doesn’t really perform as impressively as it could. Regardless, it stays true to its source material, and any Looney Tunes fans are sure to enjoy it, even if it falls short of attaining the cartoonish frenetic energy that the original game captured so well. Indeed, Bugs and Taz is nonetheless worth your time.
Thanks to David Geary for your request. I hope you enjoyed, and that I’ve offered a few new thoughts on the game.

Thanks guys!

I’m not gonna lie, in hindsight I actually enjoy Granny in this game because being a game skewed towards kids, it’s basically June Foray being a kind mentor to you for seven straight minutes of dialogue. RIP.
6:45 This... THIS is the reason I was unable to finish the game as a kid. Stuck on this level forever with no way to progress. Thanks, level designers! :P
Haha! I was stumped for ages! 😂 Glad it wasn't just me.
I finished the game but didn't get the full ending because I didn't collect all the gears
@@calicobagels You didn't miss much. 😂
the only 2 era specific mini games that are somewhat accurate are the Viking era Hockey game (which is known as Knattleikr translation being ball game, I know very original) and also the Aztec era ball game that seems to be loosely based on the Mesoamerican ballgame (not so fun fact, the winners of the game were sacrificed believing their god would be happy with the spirits of winners)
I want a sequel :( TIME BUSTERS 2
Oh great Taz gets brain damage from Bugs jumping on his head...
I just realised, this games plot is basically the same as Glover
It ain't perfect...but I freaking loved this game as a teenager! It was legit the first Game I EVER finished on the PS1 console and it had a lot of improvements on Lost In Time. Having Taz as a playable character alongside Bugs just did it for me!
This game was very much the basis of Taz's abilities in Taz Wanted for PS2. One of my favourites.
I love this game, but it never made sense to me why the Time Regulator inside Granny's house *wasn't* the method of time travel as opposed to the pointless, themed doors.
Also bloody hell don't get me started on Acme Arsenal. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Taz Wanted has been requested A LOT. I feel the need to cover it soon. Yeah, I always felt that just walking through these era doors just doesn't have the same effect as flying a time machine.
I honestly think ACME Arsenal had potential but the gameplay was so bad, it was a real shame. I may even cover that at some point.
man i was like 7 years old when this came out. love the game
I want a remastered
That was great, thank you Mr Cooper. Keep up the fantastic work 😉. Damn you catapult Hahaha.
David Geary Glad you enjoyed! :D
I loved playing this game. It was so fun
i like this game even now, srsly its a nice game,oh well i felt immersed in the world back then,i still would get hypes while playing it,a remake of some sort or something would be nice with todays tech
You deserve way more subscribers. Your videos are great!!!
Thank you 😃
That one scared more remind me Murray from sly cooper 3
Can you review Cartoon Network Racing (PS1), Nicktoons Racing (PS1) and Rugrats: Search for Reptar (PS1), please?
Calum Riley Thanks for the request! I'm planning something for December currently so may not get onto these until afterwards but I will remember! :)
The only looney tunes game I have is Duck Amuck on the DS😂 annoying Daffy is so hilarious
The worst thing about any of these loony tunes games, is the severe lack of Foghorn Leghorn, as far as I can tell, he only appeared in Space Race
He's in Looney Tunes Racing, Back in Action, and ACME Arsenal too. 🙂
@@idonthaveanose Its still not enough!
@@HeadphonesUK 😂
Are any of the games besides this one you're showing as examples, fun to play?
I have a review request could you possibly make a video on a looney tunes game called sheep, dog ‘n’ wolf for ps1 i think its called sheep raider in other places its quite a unique game I personally love it but it has some flaws
Robocop ABSOLUTELY. I love that game. I'll add it to my current list. There are already a few on the way so it may be a few months yet but YES. :D
i don't have a nose RETROGAME REVIEWS! PS1, PS2 that is great to hear I can’t wait to see it :D I feel like that game is such a hidden gem not many of my friends even know about its existence its like a forgotten title in my opinion haha i always enjoy hearing people’s thoughts about it :)
Robocop It's like the forgotten Looney Tunes game. And I've always thought it underappreciated.
Just so you know, I've started recording gameplay footage of Sheep, Dog 'N' Wolf! It'll be one of my next videos I upload. :)
This game was my childhood and one of the best ps1 games and it deserves a remaster I’m not even joking.. can’t believe how negative this review was
I don't hate the game. I used to play it a lot as a kid myself. But Lost in Time is so much more ambitious and varied to me.
@@idonthaveanose I much prefer this one tbh… I just enjoyed the different areas especially the last one in the haunted house and the Aztec area. The boss fighters are quite entertaining and I enjoyed playing with a friend or even solo, I liked the fact that bugs and taz had different abilities and also enjoyed collecting all the hidden gears throughout… moon valley, Zoovania and the carpet chase are all highlights for me also I even enjoyed the mini sports games… I would give this game a 9/10 only the outdated graphics and some of the mechanics such as taz biting you along with some glitches or being able to do certain things is what holds it back but I had hours playing this and would do so again…
I was 2 in 2000🙂

I was only 7 myself
i don't have a nose games ah you’re a early 90’s kid then🙂
